Whom do I speak with regarding Moonblessings and issues with Moonblessings? Is there any Prismal that can fix it? The Knights? I demand an answer.

[He lets his arms relax, tilting his head back into the pillow, lifting a leg for Yashiro to gain better access to between his legs--though really, the other has his work cut out for him. Joseph's abdomen is just as much of a mess as are his thighs.

Still, the tension drops from him bit by bit; little sighs coming out of him as he closes his eyes.]

[ Yashiro doesn’t mind. They’d been at it for awhile so it makes sense that there would be a lot. He takes his time, smoothing the towel and taking care of him. He’s capable of doing things like this, it’s just that there’s not much emotion to it. He’s focused on his goal, and he can do that gently, just not like he’s that invested. ]

[Eyes still closed, his voice is faint, Joseph feeling a little like he's floating.]

You can be gentle.

Sure, when I want to be.

[ Or when he needs to be, which is clearly now. Joseph deserves it, after everything, and also, Joseph really wouldn't be able to do this himself with his wings like that. So he takes his time to make sure it does it right. ]

[He's glad for it, really--even he knows better than to say it out loud, but it's clear in how he sighs and shifts against that soothing cloth.

Though a disappointed sound does leave his throat when he feels that cleaning finishing up--he lifts his wings slightly, cracking his eyes open.]

Won't you stay?

[ Yashiro repeats it, like the concept is foreign to him. ]

Here, with me. Even for a bit...the bed's large enough, isn't it? You've nowhere else to be?

[It's not quite pleading, but it's pretty close.]

[ Yashiro hesitates for a long moment, but then sighs. ]

Do you have a book or something, at least?

Oh...

[For an absurd moment, his expression looks visibly hurt...but a beat later it evens out, and Joseph turns over on his side, back to Yashiro, already groping to hook the blanket with a claw. ]

Never mind. You may leave.

Joseph.

[ Yashiro stares back with a blank expression, though he does pull the blanket up over him if he wants. ]

Don't be a child. You've left me tied up, with Doumeki's dick practically still in my mouth, and a crop shoved in my ass. Another time, you clawed up my wings and called me a cab while I was still bleeding. Do you honestly believe that that's what this [ he motions between them ] is now, because, what, you dressed me once?

[ Rather than leaving though, he really does go to look for a book. Logical places like a bedside table maybe? Or a bookshelf? ]

Be realistic. I'm never going to be the guy who gets in bed with you to cuddle.

I don’t.... want to cuddle. [He absolutely wants to cuddle. His shoulders hunch farther, frustration thick in his throat.

Yashiro will find mostly books in French, though he will definitely luck into some books in English, too—mostly essays, novels (most romantic, some bodice-rippers), some fantasy.

[ Well, I mean, Yashiro doesn't read english, either, but thanks to the autotranslate in prisma that means he can read either set of books. While the bodice-rippers are tempting, neither of them need to help out their heat here, so he picks some storybook fantasy and then carries it back to bed. He sits back against the headboard next to Joseph, book in hand. ]

Mm. I guess so.

Besides... you left me in a poor state before, too.

[He lets out a huff as he feels Yashiro sit next to him, curling his shoulders more...exactly like a flustered child. ]

Did I not tell you you could leave?

I'm pretty sure that just proves my point, doesn't it?

[ Even still, he waves his hand dismissively ]

I told you we're even. I don't have any reason to do anything like that to you again. Shouldn't this be proof enough? You don't even have arms. I could've taken serious advantage of you!

[ Ignoring the rest of what he said, Yashiro opens the book, paging through it and checking out the illustrations, mostly. ]

I don’t like being taunted, either.

[But Iris—and the subsequent marathon of fucking—has sapped most of his strength.
Yashiro’s warmth next to him is nice, but...he doesn’t care! He wants to be held!]

Fine! Do what you wish.

[In a particularly childish move, Joseph tugs the hooker corner of the blanket over his head, leaving only a tuft of white hair visible.]

[ Yashiro groans. ]

I'm not taunting you. I'm just being honest.

[ He doesn't pull him out from under the covers, but he does start reading out loud from page one. once upon a time, bitch. ]

You were taunting me before...

[But he trails off as Yashiro begins to read, his eyes brightening a little under the cover-perhaps Yashiro will see him shift and still a little, listening to identify the words.]

[ french fairy tales are whats on the docket today -- La Belle et la Bête. But he's only reading one fairy tale ok!! he's not staying all day. ]

[Hmmm.
He listens silently, and then rolls over, head tilted up slightly to watch Yashiro read. The familiar words calm him, and even with the translation he knows which edition Yashiro had, without even needing to look at the cover.]

I was not aware that you liked fairy tales.

Well, you do, don't you?

[ and after all, this is for joseph. that's why he's staying. ]

[He makes the smallest noise of surprise, pausing to examine him, and then shifting closer, until he’s against Yashiro’s arm. That’s...surprisingly soft of a rough man like Yashiro.]

You’ve a nice voice for reading.

[ He'd thought about being an actor, when he was younger. It's nice to think he can at least read well.

Ok back to the story!! ]

[Joseph falls silent to listen, his head pillowed against Yashiro's side, letting himself get caught up in the familiar, comforting tale]

[ Yashiro reads until the end of the story, and then he closes it and checks on joseph. is he still awake? ]

[He'd tried to stay awake, because he'd wanted to talk after, to nag him, to keep him around...but Yashiro's voice is nice, and the familiar story has lulled him with its beats. His head has slipped down against Yashiro's hips, his wings wrapped around himself like a cloak, and...yes, he is fast asleep.]
