[ It's rather late at night when the video first goes out. It begins with Cehd'ra's face on the screen, the background a window looking out into the neon lights of Level Three. Cehd'ra's face is brightly lit by the screen's glow. ]

Ah, 'lo there. So...y'know 'don't think I've done this before. Huh.

[ Cehd'ra's accent places him as Eorzean to those who'd recognize it, but on a whole his speech is almost impressively lazy. ]

Cehd'ra. [ He gives a brief wave with one hand and a wry smile. ] 'Pleased to meet you all. Just wanted t'ask folk who might know...ah, let's start with this: any of you ever been Bonded? Whether where y'come from or here, that bit doesn't matter. 'Just fishing for some idea of how it's done.

[ He leans back, ears cocking in different directions as he reaches to scratch at the base of one. ]

'Know that there's often a ceremony, fancy clothes, that sort'f thing but...what else? I'd be grateful for any input, I know some folk find these odd questions t'be a bother.

[ With a shrug he gives the camera another little wave. ]

Of course! Besides, it gives you something to wave around afterwards as proof of the bond, and that's fun in itself. Writing it down makes it seem all the more real, haha.

It's too bad we don't have access to the marks of the Twelve, here. Then we could've enchanted the rings...

Mn! [ He gives an eager nod, growing more and more enamored with the idea even if it means reading will be required. ] Somethin' official. 'Like that idea a lot.

But there's an enchantment too? That part might still do...'found a set of rings that are meant to have a power to them...

Back home, our rings were enchanted so that we could always go to each other's side if we had our rings on. Like a specific teleportation spell.

It... it's comforting.

[ He briefly gets distracted looking at his own ring, and there's a trace of melancholy and longing. Twelve, he's lonely in this place. ]

Oh...that'd be real useful, especially for an adventurer. Th'ones here'll store Chroma when the ones wearing the rings Moonlace t'use later in like, dangerous situations and such. But the ones you could get back home sound much more practical.

[ Cehd'ra pauses, following where Felih's eyes fall, remembering what the man said about being Bonded himself. ]

...you'll get to use yours again someday.

Storing chroma for emergencies sounds very helpful in this place...

Ah...

[ He hadn't expected that last comment, and it makes a rush of emotion well up in him, as he blinks back tears and smiles faintly. ]

Y-Yes. I hope so. Thank you, darling.

[ Cehd'ra beams through the screen, giving Felih his brightest and most confident smile. ]

'Sure of it. Folk here do get sent back from time t'time, sometimes for a little while and sometimes for good.

[ Whether or not that's something he wants doesn't matter right now. Felih's the one in need of reassurance so that's exactly what Cehd'ra is going to give him. ]

[ Felih smiles, feeling a little hopeful.

It would be for the best if he were sent home, he thinks... Still, he also finds himself torn, knowing he would miss those he's bonded with here and grown to care for. ]

That's true... I shouldn't fret so much. Let's focus on making your Bonding nice and lovely, yes? Have you thought about decor themes?

[ Cehd'ra feels a gentle rush of relief at the sight of Felih's smile, settling back into his chair. The contentment only lasts for a moment as soon enough Cehd'ra is having to think again. ]

Ah, 'decor themes'...'have not to be honest. That's all to do with what sort'f flowers there are and things like that, right?

[ A beat. ]

'Still have a load of little plants from a few moons ago.

Yes! Flowers, ribbons, other accents- all sorts of things can be used to decorate the venue. Speaking of venue, have you considered those yet, either? There's so many lovely places in Lunatia that could host one...

Ah, this planning meeting might be better to have in person, so I can get lists together and perhaps take you and your betrothed ones about to take a look at things?

[ For a slim moment Cehd'ra almost has to ask what a 'venue' is, but thank the Twelve Felih provides enough context for him to guess. Even so his cheeks turn a little pink. ]

'Think that's the wisest thing, meeting face t'face. What d'you say to tomorrow afternoon? My mates'll still be up then.

That sounds lovely. I should try to take a nap before then, I suppose, so I'm not a dead man walking when we meet.

Where shall we meet? Perhaps the gardens would be a good starting point- that was one of the venues I was considering suggesting.

[ A chance for some sleep is exactly why Cehd'ra suggested the time he did, for both their sakes. He nods amiably. ]

The Greatmoon Groves? 'Fond of the place myself...aye, s'meet there.
