[Lunatia's resident centaur lady is back on screen, excitedly trying to... set her network device up somewhere where it can actually get all of a rather large frame into the shot. Not that she waits to start talking.]

Greetings, everyone! I didn't realize it's been months since I last used this for "posting"... There's probably so many new people, so, um, very quickly- If you don't know me, my name is Konoha! I'm a jinba... Or a "centaur" if you want! And oh, that's my husband, Gonta... and our friend, Mikuni! Say hello, you two!

[Catching sight of the other jinba behind her pausing in their field work, she moves the camera to show a large palomino fellow (Gonta) who gives a gruff nod and semi-wave, and an elegant ebony-coated gentleman? (Mikuni) who dips into a more proper bow with a little smile.]

We run the Tsurugi Farmstead in the Greatmoon Groves! There was a lot of damage when it flooded before, but thanks to everyone's efforts we're back up and running properly... and we've had our first fall harvest!

So... as a bit of a thank you, and also maybe to celebrate not dealing with those awful nightmares anymore, I thought we could have a hotpot party here by the river? In my village we usually make imoni in the autumn, it's so delicious! It's full of beef and taro root and leeks and konnyaku... Mmm!

[She finally gets the device set up properly and trots back into frame properly, obviously excited by the invitation she's making.]

Cordis is almost over, right? So now seems like a good time before Iris shows up... But if you have a Cordis appetite, don't worry! We'll supply all the imoni... or, the ingredients, anyway, it's more fun if you cook it outside with everyone. We also have fresh sweet potatoes, pumpkin, new rice... oh, and persimmons!

But if you want to share anything, feel free to bring your own dish, too! Let's say... tomorrow? I'll send directions for anyone who hasn't visited before, alright?

[And with a last smile, she gives a big, respectful bow from the "waist" before moving to grab her device, a muffled "Gonta, Mikuni, wait up- !" before the feed cuts, and a moment later a pin on the Lunatian map app becomes available.]

[ It's Cordis and Setsura knows she has to be careful, that she probably shouldn't go out tomorrow. She has to mind herself when she's got clarity or something like it mostly and anyway, she has thoughts concerning the matter of free things, but... this is Konoha and she said "hot pot," which has traditionally been her favorite dish among friends, and describing imoni like she did has her mouth watering a bit and she could... make an argument to go given that encouragement to essentially contribute.

She's still not entirely certain she's really up for celebrating things, but Konoha looks really cute and... huggable and hot pot sounds really good and she could definitely make something to bring, so -- ]

So, [ she says finally -- has the device been on this entire time with Setsura filtering through a number of expressions? Absolutely, accidentally -- ] you could probably do with some wagashi.

Looking... frozen? Is her device thing broken? No, wait, she moved.

Hi, Setsura! You know how to make sweets?

[Or, wait- Maybe she meant buy them? EITHER WAY-]

I'm sure people would appreciate something besides meat and vegetables, yeah!

It's been a while since I tried my hand at wagashi.

[ When you live long enough, you wind up trying a lot of different hobbies and activities. ]

I think I've got enough time to put something together.

[ Smooth and casual and kindly disregard the perked cat ears atop her head and her twitching tail completely and utterly giving her way. ]

Do you and Gonta have anything you like in particular? I'm sure I could include it.

[ This is not at all any sort of offering regarding that whole seed thief business either. ]

[That's right! Setsura is Cordis... That's just good sense, then.]

[They were one of the most un-picky couples in all Lunatia, possibly, so Konoha stakes a moment to try and think....]

Um... I guess we like... ohagi? Or, well, tsubu-an? Or rough mochi? I don't know, all of it's good... I'm sure anything Setsura made would be good!

I'll see what I can do.

[ Better than that. She's getting more and more ideas and better ones. It's a little hard to keep straight given how giddy she's getting about it. She's excited, even. ]

Around what time were you thinking?

I’ll start cooking after morning work, so... around noon?

Around noon it is. That should give me plenty of time to prepare.

[ Some sweets take more preparation than others and Setsura isn't the sort to be accused of being stingy when it comes to her contributions despite her professed thoughts about 'free' things and the like. ]

I've got some things for you and Gonta-san, too, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what.

[ Setsura, that isn't how apology gifts and nor... mal friend gifts work?? Cordis' mischief, though? Yes, very much. ]

Eh, “things”?

[Wait, what things??? She didn’t mean like, a visiting gift did she?]

He had to if it was a job, right? Her cheeks might be actually tinging a little pink as she pauses and... glances upward. ]

[ "Since that time." Setsura, you need to be more specific. Magical auto translate doesn't always do great with your Japanese?? ]

And the other thing is... I can't explain it very well, but I would like to bring these things. It's very important.

[Let's sayyyyyyy maybe he did, but look, Setsura wasn't human, so maybe she couldn't blame her? And she didn't want to bring it up and embarrass her... the seed stealing had stopped, that was enough!

Was that "that time"??? ある時？！]

A- Ah, well... If it's important... I definitely can't tell you not to...

[ She has to bail -- and excitedly -- before Konoha changes her mind!! ]

[ And true to her word, Setsura turns up at Tsurugi Farmstead with quite a few tote bags in tow. In fact, it might look as though carrying them is a bit unwieldy, but otherwise, she's having no difficulty, keeping keen eyes out and about for a certain jinba and... giving the fields an otherwise wide berth.

It's Cordis, after all, and a certain temptation stands. ]

[catching sight of the other woman pulls Konoha’s attention from a hot pot she’s tending, and she gladly makes sure it will be alright without her for a bit before trotting over.]

I know you said you had surprises, but this is so much- ! Here, let me help...

[How many of those bags were food and how many were gifts? Oh my goodness- Even knowing Setsura was stronger than she looked, she prances circles around the other woman looking for a way to extract some of the load. Look, even if it wasn’t heavy for her, it still looked awkward to carry!]

This? Nonsense! This is a modest amount.

[ But Setsura won't refuse Konoha's assistance with how unwieldy the bags are, her smile tugging wider for that pleasantly received clip-clop in her ears.

Those bags, though? For a normal human rather than a hanyoukai or jinba? Some of them are incredibly heavy. ]

I do appreciate it, though!

Nonsense, you’re our guest!

[Why are they so heavy? They don’t feel too bad to her, but working with humans all her life has given Konoha a pretty good idea of human limitations and these... are heavy.

But she takes a few off Setsura’s hands to make the load less awkward to maneuver with, bringing everything over to one of the picnic tables set up for the occasion.]

Here— Gosh, how much of this is sweets?

[ She follows, counting on her hands which bags she should be keeping tabs on. There's a certain bottle that doesn't necessarily need to make a debut at the party, after all. ]

[ She insists as she begins to place bags down. ]

I actually wasn't sure how many people to expect or how many of them would have a sweet tooth. You did invite everyone on the network, after all, but these -- [ she's picking out a couple of bags, carefully ] -- are for you and Gonta, actually!

[ Extending them with both hands in a bow for Konoha to accept? She is! ]

Phew- !

[That's a relief... She'd feel bad if Setsura brought so much just for her and Gonta... Plus, it was always better to have more food than less, so that was dessert taken care of.

When she's presented with things for herself, though- She bows promptly, only then accepting them.]

Thank you, Setsura, you really didn't have to...

[But she is still curious, so...]

[Or should she do that later...]

[ She shakes her head at that "you really didn't have to," and practically beams at that question. ]

Of course you can!

[ There's two bags. One is much lighter than the other with two handmade scarves in deeply rich, earthy, autumn colors. They're hardy as the people they're intended for, the sort made for work as well as play with colors that won't mind dirt and sweat. In fact, they may well be complemented.

The other is a bit heavier and complemented with a cute bow and something suspiciously like an apology card with... instructions? There's a lot of mochi there, but the star of the bag is clearly a large, mysterious bottle of sake brewed by a particular god and possessing special properties.

That's why the instructions. Half a shot glass and a regular human man would be on their ass for hours, after all. A jinba? Well, it should certainly work better with their bodies than human brews. ]

[She checks the heavier one first, curiously pulling out the sake bottle and looking over it in surprise. Oh... something that would work on jinba... ? And it finally makes sense to her, what thi might be for, when she sees the little card. Ah...

Was this about the seeds?

But she decides not to bring that up in case the other woman was a bit embarrassed about it, (it felt a bit like how maybe she'd feel if she accidentally kicked someone for walking behind her, giving in to a more animal instinct). Instead, she thanks her and moves to the lighter bag...

And her eyes light up. Look, she was impressed by the sake, but-]

Setsura, did you make these- ?

[They look so nice and warm!!]

[ There is a part of Setsura that is quietly relieved that Konoha didn't make a fuss about the seeds. Some part of her that's just fine to wave off that thanks, treat it lightly, but -- ah, that look with that brightness in her eyes. It tugs a slightly softer smile out of Setsura. ]

I did. Last winter wasn't kind and there's cold weather crops to tend. I thought they might come in handy for you and Gonta-san.

[She's got you Setsura... Konoha didn't like people bringing up anything about her more "animal-like" instincts, so if that's what that was... Forgotten, totally forgotten, what seeds! It stopped happening after that, so!]

You're so good... !

[She admires the weave openly, feeling the make of the scarves before she promptly wraps one around her own neck to test it, nestling into it with a happy smile.]

You didn't even have to... Thank you, Setsura!

[Konoha always did admire skills that she didn't have herself, and while she could do sewing weaving (and adjacent knitting) wasn't one of her specialties.]
