First time being active on the network here but I have been lurking quite a bit since I arrived. Thought I might find an answer to my question by doing so but my searches didn't turn up any hits sooo...yeah.

Anyway, here's the query:

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on Goldfish crackers? Specifically the flavour Piping Hot-t-t-t Fishies. They don't have to be that flavour, but they're my roomba's favourite.

Ever since I moved to Japan, I haven't seen any goldfish crackers. But they were all over the place when I lived abroad. I remember eating them a lot as a kid.

Well, to be fair, I haven't really looked for any since I got here. Maybe they're being sold in specialty shops? If not, there's bound to be non-goldfish shaped ones we can crush up.

Unless Pascal is one of those kids who only eats certain shapes.

It's not just the shape he's identifying, it's everything else. The flavour, crunch factor etc. I made him too smart. This is my own fault...

Maybe I could get him hooked on something different though.

He does more than eat fish crackers...he just likes to. Gets him excited.

Aha yeah...something that's easy to get. Maybe there's a more exciting kind of cracker...but I don't really know what's more exciting than fish shaped crackers personally. Or maybe a cookie or biscuit of some sort? Or chips...

Man, I'm making myself hungry. Well, y'know what I mean.

Nah, I have a different favourite, but I do love Goldfish. Trust me, that flavour is way too hot for me!

Well, I do crush up crackers for it to feed it so in that sense yeah, I do?

Considering they're supposed to clean up crumbs and trash, I'd think having taste sensors of any kind would be detrimental to their work.

I haven't seen those around here yet, but I confess it is because I did not think of it. However, I have found foods that are very similar to what I have eaten back home, including regional cuisine. Perhaps it might be easy to find.

It's the crunch factor. Also because fish are exciting in general.

Oh, he came with the apartment I was given. It was in a different city though, not this place. I'm glad he arrived with me.

Yep. I can taste things when I eat them but I definitely pay attention to how crunchy things are. But that's just me.
