First time being active on the network here but I have been lurking quite a bit since I arrived. Thought I might find an answer to my question by doing so but my searches didn't turn up any hits sooo...yeah.

Anyway, here's the query:

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on Goldfish crackers? Specifically the flavour Piping Hot-t-t-t Fishies. They don't have to be that flavour, but they're my roomba's favourite.

[Wait...what? Did he just say roomba? Sure did.]

Oh, and the crackers themselves look like this.

Pascal never used to be this picky but I guess that's on me since I'm the one who programmed him. Anyway, thanks for your time.

Those take me back. I don't think I've seen them in ages.

Ever since I moved to Japan, I haven't seen any goldfish crackers. But they were all over the place when I lived abroad. I remember eating them a lot as a kid.

Well, to be fair, I haven't really looked for any since I got here. Maybe they're being sold in specialty shops? If not, there's bound to be non-goldfish shaped ones we can crush up.

Unless Pascal is one of those kids who only eats certain shapes.

[ He's a roomba, Ann. You know this. ]

You programmed your robot to eat fish crackers?

We could probably find something close, but, it probably would be better to get him addicted to something that's actually here and easier to find...

And also something he can clean up off of the floor.

... Your vacuum has a favorite cracker flavor?

Maybe there's something else that's fish-shaped out there? Or a different animal... like animal crackers? Those are sweet, but, maybe he'd like a flavor alternative.

Yeah, I do. Because now I'm hungry, too!!

haha I haven't seen those since I fed them to my daughter when she was a little kid.
Your Roomba has a favorite, or is it yours and you just keep leaving crumbs everywhere for it? (´。• ω •。`)
panthered: (oh my mistake!)

Yes!! You're talking my language.

We can feed two birds (and one girl) with one delicious stone!

Considering they're supposed to clean up crumbs and trash, I'd think having taste sensors of any kind would be detrimental to their work.

How does it have a favorite flavor of cracker then?
hoasen: (pocky or pretz? you decide)

I haven't seen those around here yet, but I confess it is because I did not think of it. However, I have found foods that are very similar to what I have eaten back home, including regional cuisine. Perhaps it might be easy to find.

Curiously, you feed your roomba crackers?

Huh. I guess I never noticed the crunch difference.
