(001 Video)
[At precisely 12:00 PM down to the second, the video feed opens on a shot of a table, where sit two people:Hakuno Kishinami and Yaha-kui zaShunina. Behind them, a whiteboard reads: “Anisotropy: An Introduction”.]
I am aware that it is considered customary to initiate a presentation with an introduction of the speakers involved. I am Yaha-kui zaShunina.
And I’m Hakuno Kishinami. [She gives a small wave and a faint smile.] I’m here to help break down what Yaha-kui wants to explain to everyone.
As a basis for this explanation, I will call this world that exists in three dimensional space ‘the Universe.’ I originate from a space outside of this Universe known as Novo. It possesses a greater number of spacial dimensions than the Universe, and in this language, it would translate to ‘Anisotropic.’ I will now present a demonstration.
[One of Yaha-kui zaShunina’s arms emerges from beneath his cloak and rests upon the table… before everything from the elbow-down vanishes from sight--swirling, golden fractals dancing over the point of severance rather than exposed muscle and bone. A few feet away, the detached segment of arm reappears to grasp a water bottle before vanishing once again, only to return to its place connected to zaShunina’s body, water bottle still in hand.]
It’s a bit like taking a short cut, through those extra dimensions!
[zaShunina turns to look at Hakuno, and though he opens his mouth to correct her translation, he just as quickly closes it again to return his attention to the camera, nodding. What’s important here is the accessibility of the explanation to as many people as possible. Inaccuracies can be corrected later.]
The anisotropic exists adjacent to every point within the universe.
Once one has a perception of the anisotropic, it becomes possible to utilize these additional dimensions. The purpose for this explanation is to present the possibility for Prismatica to employ anisotropy in its advancement.
For the record, though, the technology that’s needed in order for non-Novo… residents? Novans? [ She frowns, mulling it over for a moment, before shaking her head.] We’ll work on the phrasing. That aside, the technology used to help people who aren’t natives of Yaha-kui’s world do things like this wasn’t brought over at arrival. This is mostly theoretical explanations, as well as a foundation for if or when that technology can be recreated.
We will designate this span of time to respond to inquiries.
(Questions will be answered either by Hakuno, zaShunina, or both.)

Why do you care about advancement for this place? What about using it to send us all home?

[science boner rISING]
What was the tech like? The tech that let non-natives do what you do, I mean.
He's going to continue to respond with videos.
The first was Kado. It is a boundary unit and transforming mechanism used to cross the boundaries between the Universe and the Anisotropic, as well as to convert information into formats compatible to either. This unit is a fragment of this device, but lacks the full processing capability of the boundary unit.
[The cube turns transparent, and within it appears the image of two orbs--one blue and one orange.] Next was the Wam. It allowed electrical energy to flow from the anisotropic into the universe and provided Earth with a source of infinite energy.
[The image within the cube vanishes and is replaced with a blue oblong shape with furrows and valleys, vaguely resembling a brain.]
Third was the Sansa. It would alter the brain in various ways to instill an innate sense of the anisotropic. Most notably, this allowed a human to use their other cross-sections to work-share themselves and removed the need to sleep, though it remained an option should they choose to do so.
[The cube then vanishes into thin air, and zaShunina tucks his arm back beneath his cloak.]
The fourth device had not yet been given to humanity at the time I was brought to this world. [And Prismatica isn't nearly ready for it, either.]
permavoice.
Not bad. Guessin' you left at a bad time, though. Wouldn't've minded no sleep.
What sorta use do you get out of it.? Besides shortcuts.

This three-dimensional space that you perceive as the whole of the world is but a cross-section. If you move your other selves into it from a fourth dimension, [And then around his body appear four more sets of arms, fanning out behind him for a moment before vanishing.] it becomes possible to utilize more of yourself in this space.
[There are other aspects of anisotropy, but they're just talking about spatially for now.]
Creating technology that takes advantage of these additional dimensions would increase mankind's and Prismatica's potential for growth exponentially.

I wonder, can a human actually withstand comprehending that sort of thing?

But even if some technology is doing the "heavy lifting" as you put it, would that account for any effects that such manipulation of dimensions might have on a normal human body?
Take G-forces, for example. While there are certain devices that can allow humans to withstand significantly higher levels than it could on its own, at the end of the day if you expose someone to too much there's still no way they'll survive. Although I guess that might not be the same for the Prismals, but can their biology be accounted for as well?

Far more advanced than the technology on my world.
... though I’m not sure what exactly’s practical about it.
Can the additional dimensions be used for more than just what you did in your demonstration?
[Disconnecting one’s hand from one’s arm just looks like an useless party trick to Temple, and he hasn’t seen ZaShunina’s replies to anyone else.]

You can teleport parts of your body? Incredible! I never considered something like that to be possible!
no subject
Teleportation is the process of disassembling matter and reassembling it in a remote location. When I move my arms through the anisotropic, the matter remains intact--I am simply reaching through higher-dimensional space into a different point within the universe.
[It's folded space, but he isn't sure how to translate that into an easier to understand format...]
no subject
That sounds even more fantastic!
Video
Time to get press ready so he can answer...! Maybe someday he will approach this like a casual vlogger or something, but not today. Especially since this seems like a press conference itself!]
Well, that seems like that has tremendous logistics applications, so color me interested. Of course, I do have to ask-how easy would it be to replicate this sort of technology outside of your original universe?

Mankind possesses an unparalleled potential for creativity and problem-solving. Given enough time, they can create anything, even a way to utilize the anisotropic.

[Mordred said flatly, a frown furrowing her brows and narrowing her green eyes in her bemusement.]
You understand all this? First the Grail, now this stuff with extra dimensions. What next, actual time travel?
video;
[Not even the first one Hakuno has met, before coming to this place!]
But, I've been aware of parallel timelines for a while, yeah. Benefit of where I was born, I suppose.

[It was all gibberish to Mordred-- and she knew better than to question mages too hard for details that she didn't understand-- but that did start to put some things together in her awareness.]
Ah. So that's why there's so many Servants here. And a couple Masters, but not mine.
[With no Grail and no Arthur, Mordred saw no reason to pick a fight with this young looking girl while they were in a foreign land.]
What have you and your alien friend worked out about this... uh, 'dimensional' stuff.
