The limiters from the tournament.. could they be altered for a particular use? If it's possible, I'd like to speak to people with that capability.

Personal use, for an.. ability I can't turn off.

Ah, understandable. So you have a power of some kind...is it so hard to control that you want to turn it off?

[protomateria]

Something like that. [ he's being vague, but how do you explain that you're essentially possessed by monsters that are only controlled by a fourth more dangerous monster? it's a lot even for him, and he lives with it. ] Call it a precaution.

[hoasen]

[It's a bit too vague, and she wouldn't want to make assumptions.] Outside of that, is there anything the rest of us can do to help? I'm afraid science is not my strong point.

[ .. ah. ] No. [ that was too blunt, even he realizes. ] .. Thank you. I'm grateful, but I don't like.. debts.

It wouldn't be a debt, you would not have to repay. How to say, we are comrades in this world.

[ now how is he supposed to say that he doesn't actually trust anyone here other than cloud and aerith..? this is why he doesn't socialize. ]

I don't have many needs anyway. [ that's not untrue, at least. but maybe.. ] .. Others under the Sanguis moon. It would be good to hear.. personal experiences.

[Right now: one girl totally oblivious to his le edge. Especially since she has no idea what he looks like, just how he sounds.]

Oh? You are also Sanguis? I am, so I can tell you what I have experienced. How would you like for me to start?

[ oh. that was convenient. ] .. I am. It was.. [ he trails off uncertainly, feeling his skin crawl with the shaky memory. ] Mm. [ he tries again. ] There's no way to stop the change?

[She shakes her head, but oof. Now to put that in words.] Unfortunately not. The changes are all different. Some months, I may have legs. The others, I would have a fishtail. As for emotional changes...

[ dread fills his chest like lead. suddenly, he's exhausted. ]

Are they always.. strong? [ the urges, the instincts. he already struggles with similar instincts enough. ]

[She hums, since she remembers some days where it felt like nothing. But she could tell by how little he described this, it's not good.]

Randomly. Sometimes, yes. Other times, I do not feel it. It's...moody, is how I would describe it. I am guessing it was strong for you.

Perhaps. .. It was a lot to deal with at once. [ particularly for a man whose bodily autonomy is already stolen from him often enough. ]

[hoasen]

I understand. [Obviously not the part where he would change more often than they do.] It was shocking for me as well, and I was flopping around in the middle of the street. What creature did the moon make you?

[protomateria]

That is.. disturbing. [ that's an understatement. it had probably been terribly frightening as well.

he hesitates at the question, bile at the back of his throat. ] I'm uncertain. I was.. cold. [ like a corpse.

he struggles to remember through the haze of those memories, dragging up bits and pieces he can recall. ] My teeth felt too long, too sharp for my mouth. [ like the moments before his face splits and his skull elongates into galian beast's snout. ]

It...yes. I got a bit more used to it, now I navigate areas that have pools. Stay by the beach. [It was scary at first, and she had to roll herself but was afraid of hurting her scales.

[She thinks about this.] During the Sanguis moon, there are two other creatures other than the fish. A wolf or a snake.
