maybe i'm just imagining that it made me feel better. i'll leave that to people who are a lot smarter than me to figure out.

it's a long story, so i'll try to give you the short version. some people attacked me, and while i was recovering from my injuries, someone was trying to finish the job. he claimed he was a mystic of some sort, but it's strange. i felt a lot better once i got here.

Nay, I think you're onto something. When I first got here, I lost all feeling in my body. Then someone found me and I could feel again when they held me up.

Same thing happened when folks got poisoned. The more I held them while I healed, the better they healed.

So it sounds like whatever got you back in your world, probably got better once you made more contact here with folks. Did you touch a lot of people around here?

of course, if it's going to help someone. i don't know anything about healing people who are hurt or sick, but i want to do what i can.

that's a good guess. i'm the ruler of wu, which is part of china. i've met one other person from there, and he recognized me. i can't say it was mutual, though.

what was that guy's name? i wonder if it's the same person i met. he said he was a musician.

His name's Ye Xiu. He's my neighbor here! Have you been to Caihong here? He said it was just like his home. It reminded me of Yanxia back on my world, too! Well, somewhat.

i haven't been there, but i'll have to check it out. and even that name yanxia sounds like it would be right at home.

[ He's so focused on that train of thought that it takes him a moment to notice her other question. ]

i wouldn't say that i'm royalty. maybe some of the other rulers across china might think of themselves that way, but i'm just trying to take care of my family and build a land where everyone can be safe. i'm not interested in becoming an emperor or anything like that.

Bah, my brother-in-law is a prince, is all. He says the same thing. Doesn't want to be a ruler because he wants to adventure and give my brother a headache as his mate and sing to his people and calls himself the Dragonsong.

i can't promise anything. your brother-in-law kind of sounds like me, except i leave the singing to people who can actually do it.

And, a café is where you get snacks and meet up with friends! A husband café, that's where all the waiters are handsome men, who can make ladies smile with their charm and conversation! Ah, I loved managing that... we had good looking men like you around who would make everyone so happy.

i have experience being a husband, but i don't think i'd be a very good waiter. everyone keeps telling me how impatient i am, but i just can't stay in one place for too long.

i really want to do something that'll get my blood pumping! it doesn't look like there's a lot of need for people who can fight, but when i was rescuing people that were trapped by the vines, it was still pretty exciting.

i know my way around a spear, but the weapon i've got with me here is called a mowing blade. it's a large blade running down the length of a shaft.

as for my style, i guess i don't really think about it like that. i just try to use my momentum to keep me going while breaking my opponent's momentum. but vines don't really fight back.

Then we should spar! I have been getting the neighbors around where I live to train up every morning- you should join us too! We can have them learn a few things!
