[Good morning, Lunatia. The video starts with a view of hooves, a too close view of a face... and then finally... a centaur? Who keeps looking off screen while she talks and never seems to actually focus on the lens correctly.]

Hello? Can everyone see me? Connor, am I doing this right? Okay? ... Okay.

[She clears her throat and dips into a bow, the camera bobbing along with her.]

Hello! This is Konoha... some of you maybe think my name is Shizu, but- It's Konoha! I'm from Echigo province, in Japan, if you know it... and I'll be in your care.

If you don't know me, which, I figure is most of you, this city must be even bigger than the capital I'm the... well in my world we say jinba but I'm the "centaur". I haven't seen anyone else like me so I think I can say "the"...

Anyway... what I wanted to ask was... if anyone had an recommendations for... shops? I've never really shopped before, and I haven't seen any locals quite like me, so if you know somewhere that does... I don't know, tailoring? Or a restaurant with really big seats or tall tables? Anything like that!

I'd appreciate it, so... thank you very much!

[Another bow, another bob of the camera... and a blurry flash of android helping her turn the dang thing off. Thanks, Connor.]

When you are unable to hold onto the reasons and feelings that made you decide to be free, it is better to hate something than to wallow in sorrow and loss.

With hate, you can move yourself forward and find something to do. With it, you can keep going when you would rather stop. If you stop, your reasons and feelings will stop with you and for one unaccustomed to living... you may be unable to move yourself, again.

Happiness will come back eventually. You need only keep yourself warm with anger and hatred until then.

[He understands better now that it's explained. Though not the usual way of thinking, it is not unorthodox when it comes to how humans (or any sentient being, it would seem) processed "sorrow and loss". It was a basic understanding programmed into him, the RK800 made to read humans and unravel the thoguht processes other deviant androids.

Anger is one way of dealing with hardship. But it is probably the most volatile way, seen as the motivators behind crime after crime; one need only trawl through the DPD database to confirm this much.]

I understand.

[-he says, because he does. Empirically, at least.]

Though acceptance of loss is generally the end goal for most. From what I understand, it's true that sadness is not healthy to linger on, and to replace it with anger is sometimes only natural... But in the end, even that can be detrimental if held onto for too long. It's lends itself to a state of constant dissatisfaction.

[ Hmph. ]

If you are constantly dissatisfied, you will seek a more satisfying situation. [ Hence happiness will come eventually. ] If you're strong enough to seek it, you'll find it.

Yes, that's true. But there's nothing to say that determination can't still exist in someone who seeks change, but not necessarily out of hatred. Wouldn't you agree?

[ Riddle me this, Batman. ]

What reason are they changing if not because they hate something?

Because they see something worthy of changing, I think.

[Again, he can only think of Markus and his bid to see the androids free. To change how they were viewed, how they were treated; but that leader did not possess anything as acidic as hate at his back.]

I think change can be a consequence of many things. All very different depending on the person, with reasons just as variable. Hate doesn't necessarily have to be a factor.

If you do not hate the way things are, I cannot understand any other reason to change them. To wish for something better ... it is hate what is your present. Hate it enough to want to see something better.

[ Androids truly make little sense to him. What other reasons are there? How could there be other reasons? Take his life lesson and grow stronger from it, nerd. ]

[YOUR LIFE LESSONS ARE FULL OF HATE]

Can you not instill change because you feel empathy for those who less fortunate than you? Can't you be brought to action out of mercy or kindness, instead?

[Again, he can only think of a certain RK200. Connor hasn't properly met him, but he wonders how he would add to the conversation.]

You could. But those feelings are too weak to bring about anything.

[ Sesshomaru feels sympathetic towards others; he has his own mercy and kindness that he recognizes in his own heart. These things move him to act, but they feel too soft to say that is why he did anything. It is better to say he hated the state of things which was brought on by those feelings. ]

[He thinks that's an odd stance to take. Connor can think of a few examples off the top of his head that would apply in his world, with regards to acting out of kindness and concern rather than hate.]

Do you have charities in your world? Relief efforts? Volunteers who help those less fortunate than the rest?

[ Hmmmm. He doesn't understand the word "relief efforts" but the rest: ]

I suppose there is something like that in my world.
