Saw talk about us getting sent back to where we came from.

[...Not that she doesn't understand why, 'cause, well... hey. Everyone's life got kind of interrupted by being pulled here, right? Plenty of folks probably left a shitload behind. But... pff, well. This is more just. Biting the bullet and getting her own thoughts out 'cause she can.]

I got reminded of where I came from by what happened with the plants. What it reminded me of got a lot worse, though. I don't know how much of a universal constant this is, but I was 3 or 4 when the Raccoon City incident happened on Earth. Plus I've been trying to move on from some things a long time.

I wonder how alone I am saying I wouldn't shed a tear if I couldn't go back.

For me, I guess I'm lucky I can see that not being the last time a med student could come in handy.

Yeah, it probably won’t be.

But you should really get yourself employed by a hospital or something if you want to be trusted with stuff more advanced than CPR, I think.

Though getting a chance to relax is nice, I would really like to have a purpose too.
