Saw talk about us getting sent back to where we came from.
[...Not that she doesn't understand why, 'cause, well... hey. Everyone's life got kind of interrupted by being pulled here, right? Plenty of folks probably left a shitload behind. But... pff, well. This is more just. Biting the bullet and getting her own thoughts out 'cause she can.]
I got reminded of where I came from by what happened with the plants. What it reminded me of got a lot worse, though. I don't know how much of a universal constant this is, but I was 3 or 4 when the Raccoon City incident happened on Earth. Plus I've been trying to move on from some things a long time.
I wonder how alone I am saying I wouldn't shed a tear if I couldn't go back.

...But, well. Suffice to say...

You're not telling me your spaceship crashed here, are you?
[One of those things that she types as... a bone-dry joke, though not at all a mean-spirited one, and... it's the kind backed with that kind of thought of an advance "or, pff, lemme guess, of course you are..."
It's just -- the first place it's easy for a mind to go on a statement like "none of the methods I know of have been working since I got here".
Still with that distant curious rushing, just-spiking throb and kind of... beginning strain of muscles that one doesn't normally use on... the further opening-up of something fantastical like that as real all along...!]

While there are ships that can be used to travel between the worlds, no one that I knew from before this traveled on one to get here. I usually have the ability to create... I guess you would call them portals between worlds, but I haven't been able to do that since I woke up on the moon.
[Of course, going through them without a ship (or something else) to travel the lanes between was dangerous, but if they had even worked it would still at least be an option. ]
