Mal sehen, ob ich mich erinnere.... Otacon! I have for you an update on what the shift is for me, during Iris.

[The man ducks his head just a touch, and the base of what appear to be very large, very imposing antlers are visible for a moment. Apparently it would take a bit of effort to actually display the entire rack, just judging by the sheer girth of the base of those antlers. Less visible, but still obviously there? The base of a pair of fluffy, off white colored lop ears.]

I would show you in person, if you like, but I would need eh... A little bit of time to get ready. Leaving the apartment has become... a bit more complicated than usual. I am not clear on the anatomy of antlers, I do not think you can just file them down to fit through doors.

... Ah, with complicated in mind! Gabriel, I have a favor I would like to ask of you! I will pay you back, I have no button up shirts. Would you be able to get one or... three for me? I did not come prepared for this, I fear.

[He was out getting food, so he was around the shopping district as it was. Could spare the chroma, too.

I have had far worse days. I cannot say the same for this door frame though.

[There's a faint crack, and he pulls down a small chunk of the frame itself. Judging by the state of that piece, there's a good chance a lot of it is just barely on by a few fibrous splinters]

A set of two by fours, some nails and a hammer, if it is not too much trouble.

[A low whistle. Damn, the man really did cause some damage didn't he?]

Alright, got that list memorized. Guess you're going to have to use the slightly duck and go out sideways option during Iris- and probably that time all three moons are full.

[He is a big, big boy, and while aware of his own strength, he's not really used to having what amounts to a small tree growing out of his head.

[DUCK MORE. It's okay, he'll get used to it. He'll just have to make a note to start modifying the house a little more to suit him.]

At least the antlers were not harmed, I suppose. Far easier to repair a door frame than a skull. Vielen Dank, Gabriel, I owe you a favor for this.

Gotta go sideways with those horns now, too. At least they're technically temporary? Just got to deal with them for... Nine or so days? Around that.

[Like he is very, very much glad to be back to normal and not think too hard about what happened during his Cordis change this time around. At least his hair isn't white anymore and he's gotten his color back.]

[There's a bit of a grunt on Reinhardt's side, a noise between a short chuckle and a scoff. Okay, yes, the joke is funny, even if it's slightly at his expense.]

Nine days of these! I may as well pitch a tent in the yard, I am not shuffling sideways from my home every day.

Think you could get the door widened? Might help, already a big guy and I doubt anyone would mind you making the front door more you friendly.

I should, but that will be a project for another day, I should think.

[A few is a few! No matter how long it'd take, the house would be ready for Gabriel to show up, including clearing away the debris from the door frame he splintered.

Yes, there are drinks and sandwiches, he's a good host.]

[It takes a reasonable amount of time, the longest part was honestly finding some shirts that were big enough, but hey this place catered to all sorts. That was very fortunate.

A good host indeed, there was a bag hanging from one arm, no doubt carrying those button up shirts, and it was obvious as to what was being carried over a shoulder. The nails and all were also in the bag.

That poor door frame, at least he let Reinhardt know he was a few feet away with some phone ping.]

[That door frame is in a state, it looks less like he tried to walk out the door and more like he took a flying rugby tackle at it.

But frankly if that had actually been the case, there might not have been a door left to begin with.

There's Reinhardt, looking sheepish on the other side of the door the second Gabriel arrived, gesturing for him to come in.]

Thank you for the haste, Gabriel. Please, watch yourself, I'm worried the top of the frame might still fall.

Like I said, I was already around the shopping district. Knew where the hardware store was when I went to pick up a chip to get my phone working here.

[He was not losing any of his downloaded music and everything else on his personal phone, thanks. Luckily this place had a way to help with that.

Still, he was quick and careful as he passed under that mess, propping the two-by-fours against a wall carefully, tugging out the nails and hammer and all, and then holding up the bag-]

Picked up enough to last you the week, there was a sale going on. Should fit you fine.

[He took the offered bag gratefully, immediately pulling out a shirt and setting about getting it on.

He would, after all, like to actually interact with the outside world for the next nine days, it'd be a little awkward to do so topless.]

Vielen Dank, Gabriel. At least now I can get started on ensuring this does not happen again. I would hate to splinter all the door frames.

... I see that your color has returned to you proper.

He also wasn't even going to regret picking up the few really loud shirts that reminded him of Hawaiian shirts, figured Wilhelm would get a kick out of them. Some solid colored ones as well.]

Just gotta be mindful of the extra height and width you've got on your head- maybe little bells? I don't know.

[Did pause, looking up at Reinhardt for a moment.]

Yeah, think once the Cordis phase ended that did, too. Maybe it was all I needed to kick whatever that was out of my system.

[Why yes he did pick out the loudest Hawaiian shirt in the bag, you know him too well, Gabe.]

Are you suggesting I need to be less subtle, Gabriel?

Nah, figured putting a bell on either end of them might remind you how wide out those things go. Hell of a rack.

Hands had slipped in to the front pockets of his hoodie, it mostly zipped up and- well. That brought him pause. Well, guess it had to come up, huh?]

I- well, not really. [Not uncomfortable, just... awkward? Two adults and everything, even if not fully in his right mind.] You alright?

[Bells and a loud, extremely 80's Hawaiian shirt on a seven foot four man with elk antlers and bunny ears.

Super subtle, very classy.

But... indeed, it had to come up. He couldn't just leave it there, the way it was.]

If you are not uncomfortable, than I am not either. I was... Concerned, that I had moved too quickly and asked too much.

[Little bells! Like the kind some people like to wear as jewelry, gently jingling.

Look, they might remind him to be careful around doors and door-frames.

He sucked on his teeth after taking in a deep and slow breath.]

We were both under the influence of something, but we're also two consenting adults. Most it might be is awkward? I'm fine, though. Really.

[And that was genuine. Though faint, it was clear that his shoulders had slackened a little, a few worried creases near his eyes fading.]

[He'd been busy and- yeah no. Sort of snuck up on him in a way? Not Reinhardt, but falling in to that so easily when the most he'd done was cuddle real close against someone and the few make-outs.

[He'd also been very, very busy, for a very long time. Other things had always tended to come up that took priority but... It'd been so hard to deny the urge.

So long as there was no harm done, however, he found he had almost no regrets.

He patted that hand back with a soft laugh]

At the risk of making it more awkward, it would be impossible to not find you equally as memorable.

Well, there we go. Long ass dry spell ended?

[It's a bit of a dry an dirty joke, but he still managed it okay.

How the Hell was it both awkward and not at all? Ugh.]
