Mal sehen, ob ich mich erinnere.... Otacon! I have for you an update on what the shift is for me, during Iris.

[The man ducks his head just a touch, and the base of what appear to be very large, very imposing antlers are visible for a moment. Apparently it would take a bit of effort to actually display the entire rack, just judging by the sheer girth of the base of those antlers. Less visible, but still obviously there? The base of a pair of fluffy, off white colored lop ears.]

I would show you in person, if you like, but I would need eh... A little bit of time to get ready. Leaving the apartment has become... a bit more complicated than usual. I am not clear on the anatomy of antlers, I do not think you can just file them down to fit through doors.

... Ah, with complicated in mind! Gabriel, I have a favor I would like to ask of you! I will pay you back, I have no button up shirts. Would you be able to get one or... three for me? I did not come prepared for this, I fear.

You can call me Baptiste. I'm a friend of Angela's. I work with her here and I did so back home too. I guess..I'm also her student here too. [He's never really though about it, but she is helping to instruct and expand his medical knowledge.]

I completely agree. [He doesn't believe there is anyone here from their world that has even half of the knowledge that she has when it comes to the human body. Suck it, Moira.] If she could only impart a mere fraction of her medical knowledge to me, I'd be grateful.

Vielen Dank! Angela clearly has an eye for friends, you're very charming! I'm sure she'll give you far more than just a fraction, she has always been a generous sort!

From what I have seen of her so far, I have little doubt of that.

Angela has mentioned something similar to me. The only way we are drinking together is if I can buy the first two rounds. I'd also love to hear any stories. [War stories or just general stories from everyone's time together.]

Anything involving Jack Morrison would be especially appreciated. He's always been someone that I've idolized. [He loved the rest of Overwatch too, but Jack always seemed to display the skill with a gun and determination that Baptiste admired.]

Ah... I would be honored to tell stories of Commander Morrison, I have so many of them. It's been a long time since I've had a new audience for them, you have picked a fine hero to admire.

We are in agreement then. Of all the places I have learned of here, I haven't looked into a good bar yet.

I believe all of you are heroes to be admired. But he was the one I gravitated to the most.

[There's a clunk as he moves his head, the antlers clattering against some fixture he didn't immediately see]

Verdammt, if I am this clumsy in my own home, I cannot imagine what I would do to a bar.

Anything you would like to hear of Jack, I will speak of. More should remember him well, I believe.

[Baptiste chuckles at the clattering of antlers.]

It takes some getting used to, does it not? [Baptiste is an Iris with lop-eared bunny ears. At least at the moment, so he doesn't have to deal with the antler thing.]

Any story would be fine. The ones I have heard are hyperbole, I'm sure, from the kids that roamed my neighborhood. Like how Jack Morrison took out a room of enemy combats with a single knife or how he brought down four drop ships using only two bullets.

At this rate I might have to find a way to lift the ceiling...

[Were their any apartments here with a higher ceiling? He hopes so, literally raising the roof was a bit ambitious.]

Ha! He was an impressive man, but that is a bit extraordinary, even for him! Still, no fantasy tale of him could compare with the real story. I think you will find the truth to be far more entertaining.
