[Voice] - About Moon Cycle Antics...

[Midna does not make much use out of the network, but figures she has a question and doesn't want her face attached to it, in the event that anyone puts two and two together and realises she's actually asking for a little assistance. In the most subtle way she can muster, anyway.]

Hello, lovelies.
I've a question and your cycle—moon—whatever you wish to call it—is irrelevant.

How you do handle traits you acquire that could potentially be harmful to others, or to yourself? A good example of this might be if you grow horns and don't want to gore anyone who comes near you or sleeps next to you. Another example of this might be if you acquire serpent traits and possibly have some form of venomous accompaniment. Not that I know how that would work.

But you get the point, I'm sure. I'm not asking for any specific reason other than curiosity, so please, indulge me.

The truth is, Midna didn't know enough about the network to make anything private, thus it takes her some time to figure that out.]

[She pauses a moment. Akechi. Right. Yusuke mentioned his name before.] I remember. He's the one you were talking about before. The one who likes Charon. Same guy, right?

That's right, Goro Akechi. Perhaps you'll understand a little more easily once you see my painting of him.

That's right. You did a painting of him. I'll have to see it sometime, along with your other works. As much as I enjoy looking at myself, I'd like a better understanding of who you are as an artist.

I imagine you already understand me all too well as an artist, or least, what interests me and the ways that I work.

[It's probably fitting that she's only seen paintings of herself, given his one-track mind, in other words.]

Stil, I look forward to hearing what you think about my other pieces.

I understand that you're driven and inspired by beauty. Usually that's subjective, but it just so happens in this situation that you and I think the same thing is impeccably gorgeous. [Her.]

I would assume that you bring the same discerning eye to your other pieces, Yusuke, even if they're not of me. It's not necessarily me that's beautiful in those paintings, but rather how you perceive me, or your idea of me. That's what makes them beautiful.

[Modesty? From her? Or maybe it's just that she's trying to support him as an artist.]

[For a long moment there's silence on Yusuke's end, and he seems breathless when he finally replies.]

...Midna... I never realised you thought so highly of my work. Thank you.

How could I not.

[It's not even said as if it's a question.]

You see things completely different from how I do. It's true that I'm sceptical of the beauty you see in things, but I'm not fool enough to claim the beauty doesn't exist just because I can't see it. Part of your job as an artist is finding a way to convey that beauty to people who are blind. So... people like me. A piece is successful when you are able to present your story to your audience, whatever that might be.

[She pauses and taps at her chin some. This kind of artsy discussion is a bit unfamiliar to her, but...]

While I may not always see the beauty that is there, I am quite confident that I believe in what it is you mean to show. I would call that a resounding success.

You haven't even seen my exhibition yet, and I'm already being showered with praise... I can only hope the rest of my works live up to these expectations.

[Maybe it's a good thing she can't see how happy this makes him; she would probably get flustered and do the tsundere thing.]

For years I have chased after the essence of beauty, but from your evaluation, it seems I draw closer and closer to my goal by the day. It would not have been possible without you.

Well, it is true that I am undeniably beautiful. At least according to otherworldly sources. Perhaps what you needed to see was a beauty you would otherwise not be privy to.

[Okay. Maybe she's laying that on a bit thick.]

Regardless, I'm looking forward to your exhibit. We should do something to celebrate.

Being granted the opportunity to share my work with this world is reward enough. But what did you have in mind...?

What a noble thing to say. [She chortles softly, though his followup question leaves her in a momentary silence, if only because not even she knows of all the places in Lunatia. Surely there is no shortage of things they could do or places they could visit.]

Well... It's your celebration, so we should do something you'd like. I suppose it depends on what you're in the mood for. PrismaPlace has a plethora of different shops and activities available. There's Lunatia Square up on the first level. There's that big... tower... thing as well? [She contemplates on the name of it. The really high one...] No shortage of options, Yusuke.
