Hello, lovelies.
I've a question and your cycle—moon—whatever you wish to call it—is irrelevant.

How you do handle traits you acquire that could potentially be harmful to others, or to yourself? A good example of this might be if you grow horns and don't want to gore anyone who comes near you or sleeps next to you. Another example of this might be if you acquire serpent traits and possibly have some form of venomous accompaniment. Not that I know how that would work.

But you get the point, I'm sure. I'm not asking for any specific reason other than curiosity, so please, indulge me.

Then you turn completely into a fish.
Mine isn't exactly a... fish. And I don't have to be in water for the cycle. So far, anyway. I haven't tested to see what my strength is like, however.

Not completely, thank the Fury. But during the triple moons more often than not, more than half of me is a fish. I am required to occupy water during that time.

The strength may depend on the specific moon which has blessed you.

I'm of the Iris, however. I didn't have plans of testing my strength, though I suppose it may be useful information to have.

It may be a necessity for my strength to increase. My mass all but doubles when I am half fish.

I know very little about Iris. What kind of creature is fish...like?

I believe Light Dwellers refer to it as a 'jellyfish.'
Beyond that, I could not say. There are creatures similar to them where I come from, but nothing more familiar.

[As he speaks, she can't help but think that maybe he turns into a Zora for his moon cycle. Of course she can't say this, because it's likely he has no idea what a Zora is.]

A jelly...ah. We have such things where I am from. The common name for them is sea wasps.

Sea wasps. Somehow that sounds a little more intimidating.

What kind of fish do you become? I probably won't know what it is, but there are these fish people where I come from and I'm curious to know if you resemble one of them.

So likewise, she has to take some time to look it up before she can get back to him.]

Oh. I didn't know fish could be pretty. Do you mean you turn into the fish entirely? Or just... like half a fish?

During the Sanguis moon I have fish...qualities. Gills, fins.

During the triple moons, I am half fish. I have not turned into a fish entire. [ Thank the Fury. ]

I see. If you have gills, that means you have to be in water, I take it. That sounds inconvenient to spend the entire Sanguis cycle like so. I assume you have someone to care for you if you were to turn entirely into a fish.

I seem capable of breathing both air and water. [ Thank the Fury for that, too. ]

I can handle my own affairs.

Still, it never hurts to have someone in case you don't have yourself. Even if some of us prefer otherwise.

[She can almost detect his seeming disapproval. Or the hypocrisy in her addressing of him. Regardless of whatever it may be, Midna grins broadly on her end, which seems to come through well enough in the inflection of her tone.]
