[Voice] - About Moon Cycle Antics...

[Midna does not make much use out of the network, but figures she has a question and doesn't want her face attached to it, in the event that anyone puts two and two together and realises she's actually asking for a little assistance. In the most subtle way she can muster, anyway.]

Hello, lovelies.
I've a question and your cycle—moon—whatever you wish to call it—is irrelevant.

How you do handle traits you acquire that could potentially be harmful to others, or to yourself? A good example of this might be if you grow horns and don't want to gore anyone who comes near you or sleeps next to you. Another example of this might be if you acquire serpent traits and possibly have some form of venomous accompaniment. Not that I know how that would work.

But you get the point, I'm sure. I'm not asking for any specific reason other than curiosity, so please, indulge me.

Say you acquire something, like an extra— [No. She might as well be straight forward. It's not like he knows it's herself she's talking about.] Say you are a sea creature and you acquire a plethora of tentacles, but you don't have control over every single one of them just because of how many there are. It's not exactly the same as a set of wings, or teeth. There are likely other examples of similar happenings. If you don't have control over something like that, you also don't have control over how it'll impact someone else.

Some are saying if you are a danger to others and can't prevent that, then isolation is the natural answer.

Well now, one would hardly advocate going into a crowded space when one has a particularly nasty bout of 'flu, would they?
Best to stay at home until the situation is better.
Unlike 'flu, of course, the person with their tentacles can work on getting used to their presence, and stop them from impacting others.
They can also be up front and say what is happening, giving others a chance to stand a good reach away.
It's a balance of finding what works :)
Now, if they are being harrassed over their moonblessings, then that's a different matter, and one that I'd suggest taking up with their MPs.

[So. Basically everything she's done up to this point. It's nice to know that she's got some sense left in her. Midna resolves to continue isolating herself during her moon cycle until she has a better... grasp on the situation.

A 'Member of Parliament'.

Is that like a king or a queen?

Closer to a prime minister in fact, but in action, they do tend to fancy themselves kings and queens.

I see. There's nothing wrong with fancying one's self a king or queen, in my opinion. Some of us are just naturally suited for such a position.

I doubt anyone has the audacity to treat me in a way that is anything but becoming. But at least I know how to handle it if someone should suddenly grow it.

I am Sanguis blessed, so unless you're particularly eager for the triple moon, my snakey changes aren't liable to get in the way. :)

I assume any time that Iris isn't... in session. [Regardless of how beautiful a glass-like Midna jellyfish may be, she's still not fully in control of those faculties. It doesn't help that she feels that desire to be close to people more at that time. Although maybe during the next cycle, she'll be lucky and have no stingers.]

I doubt you're any more or less threatening when you're a snake, honestly. Do I seem like a serpent would frighten me off? Just pick a time convenient to you and I'll make sure I'm available.
