Hello, fellow Moonblessed! This is the Principality Aziraphale and I have a few subjects I'd like to discuss with you, if you have the time to spare.

One is simply a request for good book recommendations, though I'm also curious if anyone has ever run into books here they were familiar with back home?

The other is particularly for those also blessed by the Iris moon... Have you had any trouble with shocking things? And people? My last phase resulted in my being quite affectionate but it's a bit of a hardship trying to cuddle when you keep accidentally shocking your partner.

Mostly the bits surrounding the birth of Christ. I found it odd that they went out of their way to name a particular angel when it came to informing Mary of her surprise pregnancy, but not whoever calmed down the shepherds when he was born. I also rather doubt a teenage girl was all that calm about her marriage prospects being potentially ruined, but that could be down to 'the gospels were written by men and none of them asked her.'

As far as I know, no one's tried it, though there's no reason we couldn't see about arranging such an expedition, particularly to Iris since that's the one everyone arrives on. It may take longer to plan than one month, though.

You are not the first person to point that out, so I have no doubt it is true, but I had never heard of "Roman" until I came to this world. I am from the Reim empire, whose capital is Remano, which obviously sounds quite similar
So I suppose there must be some sort of connection, but I don't know what it could be.

I too have been only to Iris! But they have shuttles between all of them, so I have been thinking I really ought to go see the others. I heard that being on the moon of which we are moonblessed feels different somehow...
Since you didn't have any frame of reference when you were on Iris, it is probably hard to say, but
Do you remember feeling any way in particular while you were there?

Oh, pfff. All the involved would be on my end. All you'd have to do would be hold something for a while to charge whatever it is, and then it would run. I don't know how long, but it's not too bad.

I don't think all Cordis people have ice, but it is characteristic of them.

Probably...and plenty of people here seem to have powers of their own anyway, so it seems like it'd be a lot of trouble for not a lot of payoff. So I think it's more related to the moonlacing area of things...

[Millennia! That really gets Colress' curiosity going. He wonders what sort of experiences a being like that may have had over all that time.]

There are a few hypotheses floating about in regard to what might be happening in our home worlds, but I do not know if a concrete answer has been discovered thus far. My particular belief is that time may not actually have passed once we return. With luck, your bookstore is completely safe.

Oh! So you are familiar! As one of the Moonblessed that was captured by the Sinless, I thank you and your friend for aiding in the rescue. I would very much like to hear of your progress in the future, as that hypothesis about our arrival is a fairly new one to me. Admittedly, I have gotten myself a bit caught up in the technology of this world to turn toward researching Prismatica's legends.

[That and well...dealing with everything the Sinless put him through has him put off for the time being. He's still a bit shaken up about it.]

That is quite all right! They seem to be quite the rarity among other worlds. Yes, they are indeed from my home world, and there are many different species apart from Magneton. Almost 1,000 unique species have been discovered to the date of my arrival here on Prismatica.

Oh, absolutely! I wouldn't just give you an idea and go dancing off and not help. That's not who I am.

Sure at shit seems to be. Wouldn't have expected the blessed thing to be putting out a bloom stalk already, and that's the only variable I can think of.

[Well. Only normal-people variable. He maybe possibly hasn't been in as much of a mood to terrify it. If pressed, he'll say it's not as much fun with only one plant to take the abuse.]

Exactly. As nice as fiction can be sometimes, there's still a place for things like history and the like.

And that's fair. I haven't been on the receiving end of the lightning magic so I, unfortunately, can't tell you any more than that. For what it's worth, that's a pretty noble goal.

Try not to be afraid of love, if it's there. That includes familial love, even found families like yours. It's a strong emotion and fear can instinctively guide you into avoiding it, or avoiding admitting it, because of outside consequences or how emotionally or physically vulnerable it might make you. But love is worth it. I can promise you that. If it's something you truly feel, it's worth everything.

Fear not! I would not suggest for a moment that you hide who you are for the sake of others' beliefs or lack thereof. But you truly have caught me off guard, my friend. I had never dreamed that I would meet an angel of all things, even here. You do have wings, then?

I have been told about the library. I'm excited to go give that a look, even if I generally prefer to own a book over borrowing someone else's.

"Aziraphale-san." It's been a while since anyone's called me that! Would you be more comfortable if I were to use an honorific with you as well? Do you prefer Tsumugi or Aoba?

I hadn't thought to look for that, but then I have wanted to find a new barber. Likely, they could help point me in the right direction.

I've enjoyed books from all possible genres, but I do have a taste for a bit of drama. Of the fictional variety, I mean.

I think with a little practice I should have it enough under my control that I can keep from doing that, at least.

Not mine, no. Well, I mean, separately, animals and humans coexist. But we don't have... Humans with tentacles, or tails. Not outside of fictional stories, anyway.

Certainly not me, but unfortunately I can't really say the same for every angel I've known. I quite understand your hesitation.

If it helps, I'm... Not particularly in their good graces at the moment either, to put it mildly. I had an awfully big hand in helping prevent the apocalypse and they weren't too pleased with that.

I've been lamenting the very same, myself. I can only hope they'll be alright while I'm gone... If I'd known I was leaving, I would have set up extra precautions to protect my things.
