[After moon phases have ended for the month, Asami contacts the network with a light smile on her face. There's also a very cute polar bear dog cub playing on the background that looks at Asami the moment she starts speaking.]
Hello. My name is Asami and I have a few questions I wanted to ask. It's mostly about the technology you're familiar with. I'm curious to know what kind of inventions your world has - especially in the area of vehicles and robots. [Her smile is a little wider.] Of course, I wouldn't ask if I wasn't going to share what it's like in my own world, should you be interested in knowing in return.
[Naga now comes over to her. Amused, Asami zooms in closer to her for a moment to give her a chance to say her hello before scratching the back of her ears.]
Wait a few moments longer, Naga. I'll come play with you soon.
[She returns her attention back to the video.]
I'm also looking into finding projects that would help me get better associated with the technology around here. It's all quite new to me. So if anyone has any ideas... let me know?
Thanks.

Hi Asami, my name is Makoto! Let's see the technology I have back home is pretty good. My smartphone has alot of space I can put music on it, take pictures, call, text, and video chat. On my computer I'm able to use a program where I can make a little figure of them dancing. It was fun to play with and it helped my group with our routines. We had cars, tablets, computers, and smartphones. Oh we had video game systems too! I helped my friends with the VR game too! I read up on robots, but I haven't worked on any. It would be cool to see though.
Those are all the things I can think of right now. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them!

By now I have heard about many of these things, but I can say for certain we don't have access to such things as cell phones or computers. Even telephones and radios are rather new additions. I must say, it makes me all the more eager to learn more.
Video games, however, are something new. Tell me about those?

I bought my phone with me, but it doesn't work. You're welcome to look at it though! Our phones have changed with the way of technology too. Cell phones used to be big then it became smaller now they're sleek and flat and you can do some much on it!
[Video games! It's Makoto's time to shine.]
Video games have come a long way too! Okay, so let's see if I can explain it. A video game is a game that you can play on a tv and now your phone. It started with a system, a cartridge that's needed to play the game, and a tv to play it on. The early video game cartridges didn't have a lot of room for many things on it so there would be really simple things to do like controlling two movable sticks to hit a digital ball back and forth like ping pong, but digital.
Then the systems started upgrading with the companies that made them too. When the systems upgraded, the data size of the games upgraded too, so instead of having just one thing on a game there could be more. The cartridges used to be bigger, now they're are CDs and small cartridges can be easy to lose! Each cartridge or CD has a game on it there are different types of games too like fighting games where you have a group of characters with fighting styles and you beat each round to get to the boss. There are rpg or role playing games, but digital! Next there's action games, first person shooters, sports games sometimes you get to play real teams or make up one of your own!
[Makoto realized how much he started talking that he gave a sheepish smile.]
Sorry for going so fast I, um, really like video games. Did you have any questions?

[She then listens to this long speech. It's a lot to take in, but it's all interesting to her and she loves listening to passionate speeches. She's smiling sweetly and still looks very interested.]
You have no reason to apologize. That all sounded very interesting and something I'd definitely like to look into sometime. Do they have these video games in this world?
