[After moon phases have ended for the month, Asami contacts the network with a light smile on her face. There's also a very cute polar bear dog cub playing on the background that looks at Asami the moment she starts speaking.]

Hello. My name is Asami and I have a few questions I wanted to ask. It's mostly about the technology you're familiar with. I'm curious to know what kind of inventions your world has - especially in the area of vehicles and robots. [Her smile is a little wider.] Of course, I wouldn't ask if I wasn't going to share what it's like in my own world, should you be interested in knowing in return.

[Naga now comes over to her. Amused, Asami zooms in closer to her for a moment to give her a chance to say her hello before scratching the back of her ears.]

Wait a few moments longer, Naga. I'll come play with you soon.

[She returns her attention back to the video.]

I'm also looking into finding projects that would help me get better associated with the technology around here. It's all quite new to me. So if anyone has any ideas... let me know?

Thanks.
bloodisthicker: does he even have a life outside of douchey politics (so how late does he work every night)

[...well, he does kind of owe Asami for springing him out of Fox Cult Jail, so...]

Well, I'm sure you know the technological advancements of our world far better than I do, all things considering. I'm curious to know if anything interesting has happened on that front between when I'm from and now, but, well.

In any case, I've gotten the impression that the Lunar Scientia is fairly accommodating to newcomers, so I'm sure it'd be worth your while to give that a visit.
bloodisthicker: this is my likable face (here's lookin' at you kid)

...well, alright, I'm pretty interested, then. I was never directly involved with that sort of thing, but both being here and speaking with people whose worlds range from something more akin to the level of technology that was present during Avatar Aang's time to about the same as this... well, I have to admit, I can't help but find it all a little fascinating.

[...he... really should probably talk to his friend at Lunar Scientia before Asami shows up there, but uh, maybe he's too late for that...]
bloodisthicker: could have bloodbended you all but i didn't (god i'm such a great guy)

Ah, well, Avatar Korra let me know about a few things, but I was... well... focusing in on certain elements, honestly, so I suppose I could do with a refresher. Plus, it might be fun to talk with an industry insider about things, too. For reference, I... do know about what happened with the Chief of the Northern Water Tribe, at the very least...

[...that kind of stuck out to him because well, it was his old boss, and he was entirely unsurprised...]

I wouldn't mind that. I'm not terribly busy, so my schedule's fairly flexible.

Well, that’s inconvenient. I suppose it would’ve been too easy if we were all from the same time period, wouldn’t it? In any case, though... I’ll buy. I know it’s not that much, but I do owe you.

[...in multiple departments, even.]
bloodisthicker: oh wait it's not an edgeworth joke (give 'em the ol' razzle dazzle)

That is certainly for the best, given... everything. Granted, I do basically have a handle on things at this point.
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

I know, right.

...I try to eat out when it's Cordis because then I have to face actual consequences if I spend too much Chroma beyond feeling awful for an afternoon and having to refill my refrigerator.
bloodisthicker: TIME TO GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD... (sigh...)

Oh, I know. It's extremely difficult, but... it takes time to build up the self control, but it happens eventually. Mostly.

...

Just don't feel too bad if you go for it, I guess. You don't end up with the same consequences that you might for engaging in that kind of behavior outside of Cordis outside of an empty wallet.
