Whenever I feel down, whenever things feel worthless, I rise because I know people need me.
Even if it's a little thing, even if I know going into it is utterly hopeless and there's no way to win.
I'll still keep moving forward for them. Even if it's only one person, I'll be strong for them.

I understand that. I'm much the same way.

My unit, Ryuseitai, exists to bring smiles to children. That's my job, as a hero.
Even if I don't feel like smiling, if I can change one person's life or make one kid say "oooh, ahhh!" at our heroics, then I know that I've done well, and that makes me feel like smiling all over again. ★

What kind of people do you live for?

It's not really a group of people, not really. My mentor back home saved my life and asked for me to keep living for a little while longer, so I've agreed. I just wondered what other peoples' reasons were.

I suppose there's also some people that only I can help. So I keep going so I can use my abilities to help them.

What did you mean by your 'unit'?

They're my comrades in arms. I lead them into battle, with passion and pride...!

Would you tell me about your mentor? I'd like to hear it! This person must be incredible!

That makes it sound like you're soldiers...

My mentor? Her name is Hisoka. She's kind, patient, gentle. She runs a coffee shop that's also an antique shop and she's been teaching me about all sorts of things. The locals know her well and rely on her for all sorts of things.

She really lights up the room when she walks in, and she just has a very soothing, calming presence. And she makes the best coffee I've ever had.
