Guete Morge, everyone!

I will try to keep this brief. I've posted once before but I imagine it's more likely that if you know me, you've met me in person or know a mutual acquaintance; my name is Angela Ziegler. I'm the doctor that has opened the Second Nature Clinic on level 2. It has officially been set up and I've worked up a preliminary amount of basic medications that should be familiar to most such as allergy medication, pain management, decongestants, and other such things.

More importantly, there is no charge for any of my services if anyone ever needs to come by or contact me. I'll also gladly come to you if you're not comfortable in medical facilities or don't wish to leave your apartment. I think we all know by now the effect we can have on others, depending on the time of the month. I want everyone to know that they're welcome, for any reason, whether it's for questions, concerns with the moonblessings this place bestows upon us, medical aid, or simply for a cup of coffee and some fresh pastries for the company. We are all here on our own and it's the least that I can offer to support others.

( You know, Understatement Of The Century™️, but moving right along. You can practically read the warm little smile like to be on her face if she were speaking this aloud. )

I've seen countless posts here seeking commiseration on feelings and effects people have experienced, worries, concerns— and nowhere else to put them. I hope you're all well and have found the answers you need. While I am primarily a surgeon and combat medic, I never mind listening or offering another perspective if you ever wish for something more private and a touch professional. You could call it part of my job to assist others in shifting their typical way of thinking into something a little more positive after a life-changing injury and its recovery.

I do plan on joining the trip so that a medic is present, so the clinic may be closed for a few days. If anyone wishes to post their contact information on the door for others remaining in Prismatica, please feel free to do so! I would rest easier knowing that there are eyes out for all of us, across both places.

And if you wish to know me a bit better, why don't we play a game? Two truths and a lie. Let's see, I'll start...

1. I once won a spider-catching competition.
2. I've spent more time camping than living in my house.
3. My favorite color is yellow.

I certainly hadn't meant it to come off as a psychology experiment!
I didn't think I'd be quite so obvious; my uniform features a lot of yellow, you see. 😉
Though I realize that's difficult to parse when I don't wear my uniform nor have many of you met me before!

But you're absolutely correct; would you like to wager a guess what my favorite color may be, or will you humor me in return?

It would be a shot in the dark, since we've never met before, but my instinct says blue.

As for mine...
1) I became a detective at 15 years old.
2) I'm fluent in three languages.
3) I'm left handed.

Your instincts are quite amazing, then!
It looks best on me when my eyes are also blue. ♥

Which means I can't outright guess 1 is the lie, even if 15 seems terribly young.
But if you're that intelligent, 3 languages shouldn't be such a stretch, either.
Is 3 the lie? You're actually right-handed?

Unfortunately, no pastry for me. I'm fluent in Japanese and conversational in English, but those are the only languages that I can speak enough of to matter.

Aside from this local one that comes with being Moonblessed, but I don't think that should count.

Still, a detective at 15! That's impressive!
Was it a path you wanted to follow from a young age?

It was, ever since I found out about the first high school detective.

I've always admired people who have the ability to fight for the sake of justice.

I understand the feeling well; I'd always wanted to be a doctor, even as a little girl, because I admired my parents so much who were also doctors.
After losing them to the war, it was easy to set my sights on the heroes who put an end to that war and want to help and support them as they went on to help bring peace to country after country, and help ease the ache of all the others who had lost important ones or were injured as a result.

Luckily enough, I was recruited by their very same organization to do what I could to further my healing technology and its research.
They enabled me to help countless people.
I've always held a high admiration for those who apply their skills for good, however they can affect the world around them.

How long have you been a detective?

I can't really claim such noble origins, myself. I just grew up with stories of superheroes, and seeing my mother suffer from having been wronged by someone. Becoming a detective was the closest I could come to being a hero of justice.

That was three and a half years ago, I'm 18 now.

I wouldn't call them noble for myself, either.
Still, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother.
I wish it weren't as pervasive in society to wrong each other, but all we can do is try to be our best selves and hope it influences others, I suppose.

Has it been everything you had hoped it would be?

It's a lot less glamorous than TV makes it out to be.

Still, I've gotten the chance to bring some truly vile criminals to justice.

It sounds as though it'd be very harrowing as well as very rewarding; I'm glad to hear you're able to make a difference, yourself, with the skills you've developed. 😊
