Guete Morge, everyone!

I will try to keep this brief. I've posted once before but I imagine it's more likely that if you know me, you've met me in person or know a mutual acquaintance; my name is Angela Ziegler. I'm the doctor that has opened the Second Nature Clinic on level 2. It has officially been set up and I've worked up a preliminary amount of basic medications that should be familiar to most such as allergy medication, pain management, decongestants, and other such things.

More importantly, there is no charge for any of my services if anyone ever needs to come by or contact me. I'll also gladly come to you if you're not comfortable in medical facilities or don't wish to leave your apartment. I think we all know by now the effect we can have on others, depending on the time of the month. I want everyone to know that they're welcome, for any reason, whether it's for questions, concerns with the moonblessings this place bestows upon us, medical aid, or simply for a cup of coffee and some fresh pastries for the company. We are all here on our own and it's the least that I can offer to support others.

( You know, Understatement Of The Century™️, but moving right along. You can practically read the warm little smile like to be on her face if she were speaking this aloud. )

I've seen countless posts here seeking commiseration on feelings and effects people have experienced, worries, concerns— and nowhere else to put them. I hope you're all well and have found the answers you need. While I am primarily a surgeon and combat medic, I never mind listening or offering another perspective if you ever wish for something more private and a touch professional. You could call it part of my job to assist others in shifting their typical way of thinking into something a little more positive after a life-changing injury and its recovery.

I do plan on joining the trip so that a medic is present, so the clinic may be closed for a few days. If anyone wishes to post their contact information on the door for others remaining in Prismatica, please feel free to do so! I would rest easier knowing that there are eyes out for all of us, across both places.

And if you wish to know me a bit better, why don't we play a game? Two truths and a lie. Let's see, I'll start...

Oh I'm sure it must be someone's favorite color, somewhere. It's so sunny!
A nice goldenrod, perhaps. Like sunflowers and dandelions.
And what might your favorite be?

Red. The color of passion, danger, love, fire, warmth.
I don't think there is any color that tops it.

So you're a romantic, I take it?
I think everyone is drawn to different colors that make them feel the way they hope to be inspired; I'm fond of blues, myself, because I like the calming nature of them.
But I do like nearly all colors despite it.

So, do I get to guess, now?

I think I'm more into passion than romance. [Figure that one out.] Blue is a pretty good color too.

Okay, pick the lie.
I have jumped off of a building.
I have a temperature of 209 degrees.
I can’t ride a motorcycle.

[cadeuces]

I suppose that's fair enough, as well.
Especially in a place like this.

( And predictably, nearly immediately: )

The temperature of 209 degrees; the human brain can't sustain more than 105 for more than a couple of days without severe damage.

But then that leads me to wonder why you've jumped off a building, as well!

Yeah. That's one reason why I kind of love this place.

[Well obviously any Doctor would pick that. That's why he went that route.]

Nope, that is true. You can try again if you want.

So not a romantic, but a playboy?

And that can't possibly be; you wouldn't be alive for us to have this conversation, unless... It's some sort of power?

( She'll try again in a second; this mystery is more important right now. )

I guess that is one way of describing me?
At least I know that's what some have called me.

Yep. It's a power or well, its part of my powers. I think the nurse that discovered it when I got my abilities was pretty much in disbelief.

I'll have to mind myself around you, then. 😉
Unless I should be calling you a playgirl instead?

May I ask what your powers are, then?

You only have to mind yourself if you have a weakness for charming, handsome, amazing guys.

One second.

[He'll do her one better, he switches his bracelet to video after removing it. He props it up on something and takes a step back. He holds his hand out and it catches on fire. Then after a moment, it spreads to the rest of his body.]

Well, I very well may.

( Angela stop tempting the guy, you already get enough action!!! But then he's switching to video and she gets both the visual confirmation that, yes, he is a very handsome man, and also the reasoning for his high body temperature.

Heeeee's on fire! Completely on fire! Without so much as a hitch of breath. Since she allowed the video feed she might as well allow it to turn on for herself as well, and he's met with a very surprised blonde doctor on the other end, accent curling her syllables up at the ends. )

It doesn't burn you at all? You have control over it?

[Well well..speaking of hot..this blonde that just appeared on screen is way hotter than the flames that are upon his body. He'd have initiated video contact way sooner if he knew.]

Doesn't hurt me one bit. No type of heat source does, even when I don't have these flames on me. [Since receiving his abilities, he's immune to heat and fire.]

If you do physicals.. I'm sure I can come into your clinic at some point to check you out. I mean, for you to check me out.

( Pot, meet kettle! The fact that he can even speak through being aflame seems to surprise her with another twitch upwards of her brows, when usually the flames would have sucked the oxygen right from his throat. The temptation to have a look over him is just as scientific as it is sheer curiosity, and when he starts to state it, she's lighting up.

It changes to amusement with the "stumble" and then she giggles, muffled into the curl of her fingers. )

That almost sounds like it could be a shame, if that heat came from another person. ( And a quirked brow, teasing, because she can give as good as she gets. ) But if you're ever concerned about anything here or need the medical assistance, yes, you're always welcome to come in. I'm admittedly plenty curious. What was your name?
