Guete Morge, everyone!

I will try to keep this brief. I've posted once before but I imagine it's more likely that if you know me, you've met me in person or know a mutual acquaintance; my name is Angela Ziegler. I'm the doctor that has opened the Second Nature Clinic on level 2. It has officially been set up and I've worked up a preliminary amount of basic medications that should be familiar to most such as allergy medication, pain management, decongestants, and other such things.

More importantly, there is no charge for any of my services if anyone ever needs to come by or contact me. I'll also gladly come to you if you're not comfortable in medical facilities or don't wish to leave your apartment. I think we all know by now the effect we can have on others, depending on the time of the month. I want everyone to know that they're welcome, for any reason, whether it's for questions, concerns with the moonblessings this place bestows upon us, medical aid, or simply for a cup of coffee and some fresh pastries for the company. We are all here on our own and it's the least that I can offer to support others.

( You know, Understatement Of The Century™️, but moving right along. You can practically read the warm little smile like to be on her face if she were speaking this aloud. )

I've seen countless posts here seeking commiseration on feelings and effects people have experienced, worries, concerns— and nowhere else to put them. I hope you're all well and have found the answers you need. While I am primarily a surgeon and combat medic, I never mind listening or offering another perspective if you ever wish for something more private and a touch professional. You could call it part of my job to assist others in shifting their typical way of thinking into something a little more positive after a life-changing injury and its recovery.

I do plan on joining the trip so that a medic is present, so the clinic may be closed for a few days. If anyone wishes to post their contact information on the door for others remaining in Prismatica, please feel free to do so! I would rest easier knowing that there are eyes out for all of us, across both places.

And if you wish to know me a bit better, why don't we play a game? Two truths and a lie. Let's see, I'll start...

It's a risk, of course, I'm aware of that, but it's one someone has to take.

Still, as I've said, there are some things we can recognize as foolish while still knowing we have to do them.
Firefighters know it's foolish to run into a burning building, but they're still trained to do just that with high risk to their lives, for the sake of saving others.
Soldiers still enlist to fight for their country and safety of their loved ones, again with high risk.
I wouldn't dare put myself on their level, but it's a similar concept.
Unfortunately the place and time I come from doesn't have heroes, the way yours does. Or people with such fantastic abilities.
We're all just regular humans trying to fit roles in life that require filling.

( She doesn't mind explaining it, just as she doesn't mind accepting the mantle; sure, she's "fucking dumb". )

I can talk that way. I'm the only one doing anything about this shitty place.

First off, don't be modest.
Secondly we're not on YOUR world. Or on mine. The same rules don't apply.
My abilities fucking pale in comparison to this place. If you choose not to adapt, you'll die. That's dumb.

I can assure you that you're not the only one; it's just far beyond a simple fix.

It isn't being modest to speak the truth; my training was far different.
And you're right, we're not on either of our worlds, where we know the people or the cultures or the technology.
It just means we have to be patient and re-learn these things before acting.
We're not going to die here, Katsuki.
I'm not going to let that happen.
Not anyone.

( If it means spreading herself membrane-thin trying to reach everyone, well. So be it. If they're all maintaining safe levels of chroma, then nothing should be capable of hurting them too badly. )

So what exactly are they doing to solve things?

I don't have the time to be patient! Every day here is another day we remain trapped, at the mercy of the whims of the spineless bastards who control this place. I won't let my allies go through that. And I won't let anyone else.
And I won't let YOU die just because you share the same stupid notion most heroes do that it's okay to get hurt if it means others don't have to. Fuck that shit.
Fuck this place.

I believe their first priority is how we're able to convert the energy so they can recreate it and won't need to rely on us anymore.
The concept of... inter-dimensional or cross-universe travel is another matter entirely. They weren't at all familiar with the Milky Way galaxy or the solar system Earth was a part of or any other habitable planets with sufficient levels of oxygen and water, for that matter.

You're not incorrect, Süässli.
But for now, there's little we can do to rush things along.
And some people have been able to return, or at least we can assume. We just don't know how, yet.

( But instead of butting heads with him over the sentiment, which, really, she does take to heart and smiles at her screen for a long few minutes, her reply finally comes through. )

This is exactly why we have to rush things. We can't just rely on them or the chance that we might return. There's no guarantee of either.

Running a clinic sounds like you get no down time. But I won't say no to free food.

Which should be done by turning their focus to the travel needed to send us home to ease the burden on their resources; they're not going to try and kill us, Katsuki.
Even if we were able to build some sort of spaceship capable of long-term travel or warp travel, with cryogenic pods, how would we know where to go?
It will take time and many, many tests to be certain.

Anyway, I do have downtime, honest.
But I do appreciate company and assistance.
