concept: you have a superpower if you didn't already have one. some of you guys do, some of you don't, whatever. you have a new one. who cares about the logistics

it's any power you want. what is that power what's it do

the trick is that it has one drawback so i guess make that up too

example: i would command a hoard of snakes to do my bidding
drawback: i can no longer chew food i must swallow my food whole

what made you think of talking about this?

i guess it's a different twist on the "what superpower would you choose" question everyone gives

then i'd make for a shitty snake but that's neither here nor there

sometimes i'd think about how some powers might be utterly useless. but it's what you make of it, i guess.

I'm not used to people being absolutely powerless, you see

I've never tried human alcohol, but
I imagine it's not much different from the kind in my world
you also seem very creative, coming up with something like this

You don't have to add "master". That sounds way too formal for a guy like me. But you got it right otherwise.

My apologies... it's a habit I have yet to be rid of. It is rare to address a person without honorifics, where I come from.

I've found not many like it, here, though.

I guess it just makes me sound way more important than the truth. So. Don't do that unless someone's earned it.

Why would you say that? Being a bodyguard sounds like a very honorable position.

My bodyguards and retainers are very dear to me, back home.

It's really not that glamorous for the kind of people I work for. I can't really say much more than that.

Probably doesn't really matter either way, in retrospect, but I should probably be careful about what I say.
