Hey, everybody! Wow, this forum thing is really neat. I wish we'd had something like this back home, it would've made keeping in touch with people a lot easier. It's pretty fun to look through and see all the questions people are asking, and read what everyone has to say! It seems like that's what this is for, right? Asking questions?

Actually, I was hoping I could ask a couple, too. One of them is, for people who have jobs, are your jobs enough to keep you sustained just from the Demichroma you earn, or do you have to accumulate Chroma yourself on the side, too? I don't just mean for splurging at the mall or something — I mean more of, with the moon cycles and all. It feels pretty weird to have to just ask people outright if they'll hold your hand to get some extra Chroma, but I guess around here people don't think that's as bold a thing to do as they would back home.

Anyway, I was a little worried about it, so I thought getting a job would be a good thing to do, but boy! The customers sure are something when there's a moon in the sky!

The other question I had was, I sort of want to go back to school, so I've been thinking of enrolling at the Academy. I'm just wondering if it's hard to balance classes and a job? It's sort of strange to get used to having to sleep again! But I really want to see if there are some opportunities to play music, or maybe do some acting, or dance. I used to know some girls who did ballet and I was always really jealous of how easy they made it look! I wonder if it's too late to learn...

Well, anyway! Those are my questions, and I won't be on break for much longer, so I'll check back when I have the chance. Thanks, everybody!

i had thought about opening up a roman style bathhouse
but that requires a lot of chroma up front

japan was here until very recently
but it looks as if he has gone home
i miss him a great deal
he's a very good friend of mine

Oh, I don't know that much about Roman style bathhouses, anyway. I could definitely learn, though! I bet it'd be more relaxing than being on my feet all shift, too.

Oh, no, I missed him! I would've liked to meet him, I think! I'm from Japan, so I bet it would've been pretty interesting!

and you'd be able to enjoy the full benefits of the bath any time you'd like

it is a shame, i'm sure he would've been more than happy to meet with you too
he's very reserved but you could tell when he gets excited to talk to his citizens

And really, that would be okay. A lot of my friends are pretty reserved so I'm used to being the one who does most of the talking.

i've been saving a lot of chroma and do already have all my plans drafted
besides, i think germany would like a break from working at mcdenny's

that's always good
i know there are a few other nations that had a difficult time carrying a conversation on themselves
so someone that's willing to talk to them a lot is always good
i'm hopeful that maybe one day he'll return
even tho i'm so fortunate to have so many good friends close by

Don't tell him I said so, but I kind of got that impression, myself. It sounds like it's pretty, um, stressful on him.

yeah
he likes to cook and makes really good food from his own home
but i think his real passion is paperwork
he loves organizing things


it's not very strange, in fact i always look forward to it
it's always a delight to meet with citizens
although i've only met one italian who regularly threatens to kill me
and a very friendly italian-american priest
perhaps i'll meet the others sometime

That's not really a normal reaction to someone threatening to kill you all the time! Whether you can die or not, people shouldn't just do that!

we care for each other a lot
but he's also been through a lot so i accept him as he is
we didn't grow up together, so it's been a big adjustment for him
