Hello, fellow Moonblessed. If you'll oblige me with some of your time, I have a few questions about humans. That species is nonexistent where I hail from, so please forgive my curiosity, and I apologize in advance if any of these are rude.
1. Humans have no shells or carapace, and their clothing seems more decorative than protective. Am I correct in assuming that they use magic to defend themselves?
2. Do humans go through metamorphosis? I don't believe I have seen a human larva or grub here, though I admit I do not know how I would distinguish human young from an adult other than size.
3. Most humans that I have seen have hair primarily on their heads, rather than their whole body like, for example, a spider. Does that not make regulating their temperature more complicated?
That will be all for now. Once again, I thank you for your assistance.

[ why he did he write (nod nod). learn how to text. ]
3) what! it isn't. i'm a human, you don't believe me? i'm telling you, they're the ones who are most in need of moonlacing. they're just shy and prideful, really. i know cultural barriers are hard to break, but this is how it works for us.
while we're at it, what are you? some kind of animal who speaks?

[no means no! no exceptions for humans]
I myself am a moth.

a moth?
a humanoid one???
how are you even writing these texts?????
no subject
[kind of not the point]

moths don't have fingers to type. not the ones i know.
unless your type of 'moth' is vastly different from mine.
aren't you supposed to be super small too???

that's my height!
[ that's freaky?????????? ]
wait.
are you a humanoid moth?
is that why you're so tall?
no subject
no subject
like, do you have two arms? a head? legs? a torso?
thumbs????
i'm trying my hardest to picture what you look like.
can't you send me a photo of you?

if anyone from my world saw you they'd think you're an evil spirit, though.
[ are those horns?? he doesn't even look like a moth. is that a CAPE? ]
for all it's worth, you do have a somewhat humanoid appearance. congrats.
though i guess you'd resemble more a prismal than a normal moonblessed.

I've heard that one at home as well. Some variant of "strange and sinister" is popular.
no subject
that's weird, though.
i'd think there'd be more moths like you where you came from?

similar yet different.
i guess there isn't much that differs us either, then.
you're learning about humans, right? what do you think?

You do seem a bit strange as a species, but I gather that you tend to think the same of mine.
