[Midna hasn't exactly put together what's going on with the cycles of the moon, but she is distinctly pleased by the concept of animal companions. In particular, the wolf and dog sorts.

She's in her very bare-bones apartment. Seems she hasn't taken the initiative to decorate it yet. It's somewhere on an invisible to-do list.

Lounging on her bed, she wears a coy little smile.]

I've noticed an increase in puppies around lately. I once worked very closely with one and we proved to be very practical to one another. As such, if you find a puppy without a home, I'm more than willing to let them stay with me.

I promise to take very good care of them.

[Yes. She's going to adopt all of the wolves. And dogs.]

[The camera takes several seconds to bring Keaton into focus. He's still learning how to navigate this strange technology, but his wolf-like ears -- flicked back, mostly in confusion at her enthusiasm -- should be visible through the blurred feed.]

[Oh, look. A puppy in question.]

Hardly. I just happen to like dogs. Wolves, in particular. Call it a weakness of mine. At least—if I had any weaknesses.

Heh. Pretty sure of yourself, aren't you? And it's not just some mutt you have in front of you -- I'm a wolfskin. Been having to explain that part a lot to people lately. I always look this rugged and tough -- no mysterious influence from some weird red moon required.

I have no reason not to be. We're only as weak as we perceive ourselves to be. [There's some slightly flawed logic there. Midna simply doesn't want anyone to find what her weaknesses are. Everyone has weaknesses, after all. Well. Almost everyone, anyway.]

I don't understand what the difference is between what a wolf is and what... you are. Unless you mean the idea that you aren't a full wolf. [What did he say? Wolfskin? She's never even heard of that. That comes as no surprise to her, however. Lunatia is infinitely full of mystery and new experiences.]

[A heavy sigh. It's shameful to the wolfskin reputation that he's had to explain this half a dozen times in a matter of days. He consciously keeps his ears from pulling back in annoyance -- it isn't her fault she doesn't know.]

Wolfskin are a sort of shapeshifter. Under the right condition, I can turn into a full-fledged beast -- eight feet tall, bigger teeth, the works. I have to use a specific stone's magic to do it, but that doesn't make me or other wolfskin any less of a hunter in our regular forms.

That sounds practical.

[It's not hard to figure out why he was chosen to be one of the Moonblessed, as it were. Although it makes her wonder why she, in comparison, was selected as well. She certainly doesn't have any skills like that.

She doubts beauty is a skill.]

Does that mean you can pick up scents well? You could always just sniff out puppies for me.

[In the background of the shot, his tail can be seen holding itself stiffly to his side. This woman's intentions sound like they could be innocuous, but after dealing with poachers and "fur traders" over the course of his violent lifetime...]

What would you want with us, anyway? Once we're all tight and cozy in your apartment?

I just want a bunch of wolves to do my bidding.

[She's so straight forward about it, that it may be difficult to determine if she's teasing or being serious. At the end of the day, Midna sees nothing wrong with being direct about that.

Besides, she rewards those who serve her well. Or would. Hard to do that when she's not exactly in the Twilight Realm, she supposes.]

So you... want a few minions. Not a fur coat.

[The ears still lay flat against the sides of his head, but his tail looks a little less rigidly held in place.]

Minions is such an unkind word to use.

[She treats her errand-runners very nicely.]

Regardless, I'm not interested in a fur coat. I have no intentions of changing my garb while I am here. [She has a very specific sense of style, thank you.]

Minion, schminion. If you need a favor, just learn to ask nicely for it, okay?

[Midna pauses for some moments, unsure of even how to interpret that. True that Midna's never exactly been accused of being 'nice,' and maybe some might even call her 'mean-spirited,' but...

She's actually been kind of trying since her arrival in Lunatia. Something about honey and vinegar and all of that.]

I was unaware that I said anything that was unkind.
