You know, you'd figure I would have been in that sort of situation before, but I actually can't think of any friends I've ever had a real falling out with.

Do you want to try to mend things? I can't think of any other reason to approach them in the first place.

He wasn't an old friend, but he was a close one.

It did get tense at first, but my friend who was here longer chose to be honest with me about what had happened. Talking out the reason for our anger at each other helped us understand where we went wrong, and get back on good terms.

Guess the question is how bad it was and if you want to approach them with intent to become friends again or if they're you're enemy.

There is someone here who might call herself my "friend", but she is not. We have already met and it did not go very well at all. If you feel the need to approach this 'friend', please be advised that it might end up in violence. That is always something to keep in mind.

If it doesn't, there will probably be harsh words and hurt feelings, but I don't want you to be discouraged. If you had a good friendship before things soured, there is always a chance to regain some semblance of your former relationship. My only advice is to proceed with caution.

No, I don't think it's possible for either one of us to have that same relationship again. Everything is too different, and we're different people than we were before.
