H-Hello, everyone.

[A young lady with white horns poking through her bright pink hair appears to be sitting in her Level 2 apartment, with a galaxy backdrop. She fidgets in her seat.]

My name is Nyuu, but some of you may know me as Lucy. If I'm acting different, I can explain, um... [She wrings her hands around in her lap.] There's really no other way for me to say this without making it more confusing, but I have a split personality. The one called Lucy is asleep right now.

[As her eyes become downcast, she takes a deep breath.]

This is something I only learned about a year ago, and I'm still trying to figure things out, but I wanted to warn everyone about Lucy. I've heard in the past that she's... [the lump in her throat goes down] She's killed people before.

[A sad sigh as she sags in her seat.]

I swear I have no control over it, but I'll understand if any of you see me as a dangerous liability after this. That's all I had to say.

You know others who've killed people before? If you don't mind me asking, Kairi, what were they like?

[Perhaps if she heard about other people who killed, she could hazard better guesses for Lucy's motive.]

All types, honestly. From awful murderers who just did it because it would help their own goals to one of the kindest, gentlest people I know, who did it to protect others.

It's... complicated. Like a lot of things.

Protecting others. I've been hearing that's a justifiable reason to kill, but--How can people bring themselves to dirty their hands with blood? Even if it is to protect others, aren't they afraid those same people may look at them differently afterwards since they're capable of such a thing?

[At least, that's what she fears for herself if Kouta ever finds out about Lucy back home.]

It's a really difficult line to draw, sometimes. When you're in a war... well, there were only about twenty people involved, so that's a pretty small war, but that's what we called it. Anyway, in something like that, you find out that you're capable of things you never would have guessed, and so are your dearest friends.

Sometimes, you have to start asking yourself what you hold against them... And what you can forgive.

[Nyuu is stunned from hearing that Kairi was involved in a war.]

I-I'm sorry you had to go through a war.

[She's never been in one herself, but she's read sections of history books and seen photos, so she has some inkling of its horrors, albeit impersonal.]

But what if your friends can't forgive you? [she shakes her head] I don't even know if I can forgive myself. Even though it was Lucy who carried out the murders, I still feel partially responsible since it's also my body.

I'd say it wasn't really like any war you've ever heard of, but... people were fighting, and killing, and dying, so at that point, there's not really much of a difference, is there?

[And it's absolutely awful, Nyuu's right, but they didn't really have a choice. Speaking of which...]

And now, the man responsible for that war is gone. Dead. And because he's gone we don't have to worry anymore. So... that's something else to consider, I guess.

[If someone told her that they shouldn't have killed Xehanort, she'd argue against that adamantly.]

Some of your friends might be able to forgive you, some might not. I can't really say for sure. I... don't know if it's really my place to forgive you, or her. It's not like I know anything about what she did. But listen... I can't tell you that much, because it's really something he should talk about. But someone I knew once lost control of his body to someone awful and did terrible things in that state, like attacking his best friend and trying to kill him. We've all forgiven him. So... keep that in mind, okay?

[Nyuu quickly switches this conversation to private since it sounds like they are heading into deeper territory.]

O-Okay. If I find whoever you're talking about and get to know him more, I might ask him about it. I've just been so confused ever since I found out about Lucy. What makes it worse is that I don't think all my friends back home know about her.

[Nyuu hugs herself lightly.]

Even though none of them are here right now, I still worry about what they might think of me if they find out. None of them are warriors like you and your friends, so they might not react well if I tell them there's a killer inside me.

[She sniffles. No tears fall from her eyes, but they do look a little glassy.]

I don't know what I'd do if they rejected me. I don't have anywhere else to live except for that house we all live in together.

[Oh boy. This may be beyond her ability to deal with. The closest thing she can come to, namely Riku as possessed by the False Ansem, isn't really the same thing. After all, Ansem was an interloper. He possessed Riku.

She still thinks it would do Nyuu some good to talk to him, but she knows it's not the same thing as a split personality.]

I can't say how anyone else would react. Maybe they'd be afraid. Maybe they'd run. But I don't believe that. They're your friends, aren't they? Then... I think they'd try to help you, as best they can.

... That's part of why I've been talking to Lucy when I get the chance, after all.

[Nyuu wipes her eyes with the back of her sleeve, sniffling again and nodding.]

I... I believe they would, too. They didn't have to take me in when they found me, but they did, and it's not like they constantly remind me of all the things they've done in hopes of me returning all their favors. All they ask of everyone in that house is to do their assigned chores for the day.

[Her eyes are slightly red from holding back tears when she looks straight into the camera at Kairi.]

Do you think Lucy will improve once she makes some friends here? I've been hoping for that, too, since I don't seem to be making as much progress with her on my own. But I'm also afraid she might lash out suddenly, that's why I warned everyone. We share this body yet I know so little about her.

[And that scares Nyuu. So far, Lucy's been well-behaved, but she knew from experience that could change, particularly in times of danger.]

Well, chores are pretty important.

[She's trying to lighten things up at least a little bit. This situation seems like it could desperately use a bit of that.]

I don't know. I've only talked to her a little. She didn't seem threatening or like she wanted to hurt anyone to me, but... I don't know how you really tell that. From what you're telling me, she doesn't sound like the type to hide her feelings, is that right?

[Maybe more the type to go along with them too much, if anything.]
