[Johnny starts up the video function and doesn’t waste much time before speaking.]

So I’m gonna be opening a combination Bakery and Ice Cream shop later this month called-

[He shoots a tiny stream of fire from his finger and into the air in front of the video. Most of it fades away but there are flaming letters that spell out “Tipsy Treats” that hangs in mid-air for a bit before vanishing..]

Tipsy Treats. If you like alcohol in your ice cream or baked goods, be sure to stop by. We’ll have non-alcoholic stuff too. You’ll be able to find us on level 3 once we’ve opened up.

That aside, the name’s Johnny Storm. Entrepreneur here, world famous superhero back home.

[A pause]

I guess sort of an entrepreneur there too. I had so many businesses paying me with many more lined up to get their logo on my costume. Paid appearances, commercials, the works. Man, it was a thing of beauty. It really pays to know how to market yourself.

[That’s probably one of the few things he misses about home.]

But that’s enough about me for now. This sort of serves as my introduction on this here since I haven’t made an entry before. Talk to me about you all. What’s your names, what do you do for non-sexual fun, suggestions for Tipsy Treat menu items, anything. I’m mostly all ears.

[ She hasn't been on the network much, but this sounds adorable ]

You're a superhero? Congratulations on your business, but that sounds amazing! Ah, it's been a while since I've treated myself to some sweets.

What's your superhero power?

Thank you. I'm really excited about getting it going.

[He thinks it would be more difficult for him to work for anyone that's not himself.]

I've got fire powers. [He holds up his hand on the video and it catches completely on fire!]

[ Her eyes widen in surprise. ]

That's amazing! And that doesn't hurt you at all?

[ A lot of people on the Grandcypher can manipulate flames, but this is the first she's seen it directly on a person! ]

[Neat power.

It's really interesting to see people with abilities unrelated to Semblances here.

But also food.]

I would be up for trying the non-alcoholic items. I can't think of any suggestions right this minute, but if I come up with anything I'll be sure to offer the idea.

[As for what he does for fun...]

I read a lot. I know that's not fun for most people, though.

Oh, that sounds delightful! [Totally going to focus on the business aspect here, and the food, rather than the powers. Ann could probably do something like that too, right? Probably. Maybe.] Do you like to bake, Mr. Storm?

I've wanted to start a cafe back home, myself. I know it's not quite the same thing, but it's certainly similar!

[He turns his hand about, displaying both sides of it.]

Not one bit. I feel a little warmth initially, but after a couple of moments I barely even notice it anymore.

That's the exact reason I'm making sure we carry both type on the menu. I know not everyone is a fan of alcohol itself. So, that way, I can maximize the customers I can reach.

[It seemed like the smartest thing to do to him.]

My sister and brother-in-law like to do that. I never could see the fun in it with life offers so many better ways for entertainment.

Please, just call me Johnny. [Mr. Storm is just too formal.] I'm more of a fan of cooking with fire, but I'm decent when it comes to baking.

[He's very much about that bachelor life. Learning to cook is art of it.]

I think its close enough. I never considered starting a business back home, but circumstances are different here. Why'd you want to start a cafe?

[He's also too young for alcohol, by all rights, but he probably wouldn't drink anyway even if he was.]

I get plenty of entertainment from my very hyperactive friend.

[Well.]

... that is, I did. She's not here with me.

That sucks. [He pauses for a moment.] Or that's a good thing, depending on our view of this place.

What sort of stuff did you get up to with her?

Oh, certainly, if you'd prefer that! And I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself in turn-- I'm Haru Okumura.

[There's a little bow on her end of the screen. Sorry, she's just very well trained to be polite.] I wanted to start a cafe because my grandfather had done something similar, actually! And I'm quite an aficionado of gourmet coffee, so it seemed natural.

A little cozy place where people can come have wonderful handmade coffee and delicious food. Doesn't that sound nice?

[Hang on.] --I'm sorry, did you say you're a... superhero?

It... kind of sucks, actually. I miss her. I miss both my teammates. I know I'm lucky to have friends here at all, but...

[Yeah.

Still, he's not going to go on when he knows full well that others don't have anyone at all.]

Oh, the usual. Riding Ursa through the Emerald Forest, starting destructive food fights, watching her drink an entire bottle of syrup on a dare that she did to herself...

You know. Friend stuff.

[If your friend is a fucking gremlin.]

Oh, don't worry about it. It's nice to meet you, Haru. [He doesn't expect such politeness, not that he expected rudeness or anything. It's pretty nice, though!]

That does sound pretty good, though. A good cup of coffee can already be hard to find. Pair a good meal with that and I'd be a repeat customer.

[He chuckles a little at the last bit.]

That I did. My superhero name is the Human Torch.

That's understandable if you're close to her. Or she's special to you. [As in you don't see her as just a friend.]

I don't know what an Ursa is but..destructive food fights? Doing stupid dares? Please introduce me to her if she shows up. That girl sounds like a blast. Everyone needs a friend like that in their life.

[That's.

Complicated.

Less than it used to be but still complicated.]

Her name is Nora Valkyrie and I'm certain you'll hear her if she ever shows up.

And you as well, Johnny! [If she sounds excited to be using his first name, it's because she is. Growing up the daughter of a wealthy businessman in very polite society means not a lot of opportunities like this.] And see? You already understand my business model! [She says with a little giggle.]

"The Human Torch" is such a bold name-- I assume that's why you could do the little fire thing you did earlier?

[Huh.] ...is that how you cook?

[Feelings, relationships and the like always are. That's why Johnny is find with just a slew of one night stands.]

So her presence is that noticeable, huh? You know, you never gave me your name.

It's a really solid business model. I know I want to hire on a Barista and a confectioner at my business at some point to expand our offerings. I hope whoever I get can make coffee that you think is good. [Since she's an aficionado and all. If you are going to aim, aim for the top.]

If I showed you my powers fully on, I think you'd agree that a bold name is necessary. But yeah, that's how I did it.

[He thinks about that for a moment.]

No, but I wonder if I could cook stuff with them..

[Even over the feed, Sena's eyes gleam for a moment as she watches him perform that little trick. Then, looking at her own hand, she concentrates. And after a moment, a bit of fire flicks up from her finger, spelling out "Sena Itadaki" in fiery letters.]

You're a superhero and an entrepreneur? Talk about multitasking! Oh yeah, count me in for trying your ice cream and baked stuff. Hold the alcohol. [She's a minor. And consider her very much awed by his little display of fire.]

( Well hello, handsome new friend! Angela's propping her chin in her hands and clearly at her clinic, if the pristine backdrop is any indication. And she's looking quite playful. )

Hello again, Johnny. Do you have anything close to a white russian, by chance? Cream, coffee, vodka? I'd be absolutely unable to resist temptation, if so.

It is.

[He's lived with her long enough to know this is a fact.]

Hey there, Gorgeous. [He can't say he's surprised. He doesn't see how Doctors can even maintain a normal life with how much they end up working.]

We'll have white Russian ice cream on the menu. Probably even white Russian ice cream cake too. Some wine ice cream, champagne glazed donuts. I'm sure there will be many things that I can tempt you with.

I'm a very talented man, what can I say. I've also performed at extreme sports events. [He may or may not be a danger/adrenaline junkie.] You won't regret it. I promise you the non-alcoholic stuff will be delicious.

Look at you, you little fire starter. You've got powers just like me. Should I take it that Sena Itadaki is your name?
