So I’m gonna be opening a combination Bakery and Ice Cream shop later this month called-

[He shoots a tiny stream of fire from his finger and into the air in front of the video. Most of it fades away but there are flaming letters that spell out “Tipsy Treats” that hangs in mid-air for a bit before vanishing..]

Tipsy Treats. If you like alcohol in your ice cream or baked goods, be sure to stop by. We’ll have non-alcoholic stuff too. You’ll be able to find us on level 3 once we’ve opened up.

That aside, the name’s Johnny Storm. Entrepreneur here, world famous superhero back home.

[A pause]

I guess sort of an entrepreneur there too. I had so many businesses paying me with many more lined up to get their logo on my costume. Paid appearances, commercials, the works. Man, it was a thing of beauty. It really pays to know how to market yourself.

[That’s probably one of the few things he misses about home.]

But that’s enough about me for now. This sort of serves as my introduction on this here since I haven’t made an entry before. Talk to me about you all. What’s your names, what do you do for non-sexual fun, suggestions for Tipsy Treat menu items, anything. I’m mostly all ears.

Thank you. I'm really excited about getting it going.

[He thinks it would be more difficult for him to work for anyone that's not himself.]

I've got fire powers. [He holds up his hand on the video and it catches completely on fire!]

That's amazing! And that doesn't hurt you at all?

[ A lot of people on the Grandcypher can manipulate flames, but this is the first she's seen it directly on a person! ]

[He turns his hand about, displaying both sides of it.]

Not one bit. I feel a little warmth initially, but after a couple of moments I barely even notice it anymore.

It's really interesting to see people with abilities unrelated to Semblances here.

I would be up for trying the non-alcoholic items. I can't think of any suggestions right this minute, but if I come up with anything I'll be sure to offer the idea.

I read a lot. I know that's not fun for most people, though.

That's the exact reason I'm making sure we carry both type on the menu. I know not everyone is a fan of alcohol itself. So, that way, I can maximize the customers I can reach.

[It seemed like the smartest thing to do to him.]

My sister and brother-in-law like to do that. I never could see the fun in it with life offers so many better ways for entertainment.

Oh, that sounds delightful! [Totally going to focus on the business aspect here, and the food, rather than the powers. Ann could probably do something like that too, right? Probably. Maybe.] Do you like to bake, Mr. Storm?

I've wanted to start a cafe back home, myself. I know it's not quite the same thing, but it's certainly similar!

Please, just call me Johnny. [Mr. Storm is just too formal.] I'm more of a fan of cooking with fire, but I'm decent when it comes to baking.

[He's very much about that bachelor life. Learning to cook is art of it.]

I think its close enough. I never considered starting a business back home, but circumstances are different here. Why'd you want to start a cafe?

Oh, certainly, if you'd prefer that! And I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself in turn-- I'm Haru Okumura.

[There's a little bow on her end of the screen. Sorry, she's just very well trained to be polite.] I wanted to start a cafe because my grandfather had done something similar, actually! And I'm quite an aficionado of gourmet coffee, so it seemed natural.

A little cozy place where people can come have wonderful handmade coffee and delicious food. Doesn't that sound nice?

[Hang on.] --I'm sorry, did you say you're a... superhero?

Oh, don't worry about it. It's nice to meet you, Haru. [He doesn't expect such politeness, not that he expected rudeness or anything. It's pretty nice, though!]

That does sound pretty good, though. A good cup of coffee can already be hard to find. Pair a good meal with that and I'd be a repeat customer.

[He chuckles a little at the last bit.]

That I did. My superhero name is the Human Torch.

[Even over the feed, Sena's eyes gleam for a moment as she watches him perform that little trick. Then, looking at her own hand, she concentrates. And after a moment, a bit of fire flicks up from her finger, spelling out "Sena Itadaki" in fiery letters.]

[With a grin, she blows out the fire like someone in a movie blowing out the smoking barrel of a gun.]

Yup, that's me. Though I'm actually more of a mimic than a real fire user. I probably wouldn't have been able to do anything bigger than that.

But it's nice to meet you, Johnny.

Nice to meet you too. How exactly do you mimic an ability? [He's never known that that was possible. He's taken the powers of his friends before, but that was different than mimicry.]

I'm a very talented man, what can I say. I've also performed at extreme sports events. [He may or may not be a danger/adrenaline junkie.] You won't regret it. I promise you the non-alcoholic stuff will be delicious.

Hey there, Gorgeous. [He can't say he's surprised. He doesn't see how Doctors can even maintain a normal life with how much they end up working.]

We'll have white Russian ice cream on the menu. Probably even white Russian ice cream cake too. Some wine ice cream, champagne glazed donuts. I'm sure there will be many things that I can tempt you with.

( She has the decency to cover her little laugh with the curl of her fingers, shaking her head to the greeting. The tip of her head and raise of one shoulder is a clear, non-verbal, "now," in chiding. )

I'll have to make regular stops, then. And mind my waistline. ( Haha, jk, the nanites do that for her already. ) I know a few friends who would delight in something a touch more adult.

May I bother you terribly for a message when you're about to open? I'd love to come by and give you some additional traffic on your first day. What inspired the business? A need to cool your partners down after a sweltering date?

Either way, it's a pleasure to meet you. It's not every day you get to meet a superhero... back on my world, they were mostly the stuff of comics. Zombire was a pretty popular one.

Bakura, by the way. I like beer and tabletop roleplaying games like Monster World. Don't let my appearance or my interests fool you, though. I'm a lot older than you probably think I am.

He also has no idea how much beer has changed over the last 3,000 years, and he certainly doesn't have any experience with American beers. RIP, Bakura. ]

It probably should be, but I never had one. [The world knows exactly who he is and what he does.]

They weren't a thing on my world either until me and my family got our powers. [They are the only ones on their world with special abilities like this.]

I've never played a tabletop game, but beer is something I'm completely versed it. You got a favorite type or style? [He's a Lager man himself.]

You know, you aren't the first person to mention something like that to me. The other person said they were actually old enough to be my Mother. So where on my family tree would you fall?

I think you'd run out of breath by the time you get to the final "great" you'd need to describe me. Me and beer, we go way back... all the way back to what you all know as ancient Egypt. We Egyptians called it heket, and it only really came in one kind, though I'd love to see how it's evolved since then.

[ Learning how much of Egypt's accomplishments have remained over the centuries is not only a fascination of Bakura's, but also an ego boost. While he understands some of the changes via osmosis through his former host, he's also enjoying being able to see his country's impact on the world directly, and shows his pride in the grin that's now forming on his face. ]

And did I hear that right? An entire family of superheroes? That's amazing! It's no wonder you guys don't exactly need secret identities. You're all clearly perfectly capable of protecting yourselves just fine on your own.

But tell me, what kind of powers do you all have?
