[Johnny starts up the video function and doesn’t waste much time before speaking.]

So I’m gonna be opening a combination Bakery and Ice Cream shop later this month called-

[He shoots a tiny stream of fire from his finger and into the air in front of the video. Most of it fades away but there are flaming letters that spell out “Tipsy Treats” that hangs in mid-air for a bit before vanishing..]

Tipsy Treats. If you like alcohol in your ice cream or baked goods, be sure to stop by. We’ll have non-alcoholic stuff too. You’ll be able to find us on level 3 once we’ve opened up.

That aside, the name’s Johnny Storm. Entrepreneur here, world famous superhero back home.

[A pause]

I guess sort of an entrepreneur there too. I had so many businesses paying me with many more lined up to get their logo on my costume. Paid appearances, commercials, the works. Man, it was a thing of beauty. It really pays to know how to market yourself.

[That’s probably one of the few things he misses about home.]

But that’s enough about me for now. This sort of serves as my introduction on this here since I haven’t made an entry before. Talk to me about you all. What’s your names, what do you do for non-sexual fun, suggestions for Tipsy Treat menu items, anything. I’m mostly all ears.

You're a superhero? Congratulations on your business, but that sounds amazing! Ah, it's been a while since I've treated myself to some sweets.

Thank you. I'm really excited about getting it going.

[He thinks it would be more difficult for him to work for anyone that's not himself.]

I've got fire powers. [He holds up his hand on the video and it catches completely on fire!]

[ Her eyes widen in surprise. ]

That's amazing! And that doesn't hurt you at all?

[ A lot of people on the Grandcypher can manipulate flames, but this is the first she's seen it directly on a person! ]

[He turns his hand about, displaying both sides of it.]

Not one bit. I feel a little warmth initially, but after a couple of moments I barely even notice it anymore.

[ She's so fascinated by this. ]

Guess you wouldn't have any trouble helping set off fireworks, or heating something up quickly for folks, then!

[ He must be a spectacle if he can do that. ]

I know a dancer who can manipulate flames, too, but definitely not like this! Can you fly as well, Johnny?

You're right on that. I've never had to warm anything up for anyone, but I've heated up my coffee when it's gotten too cold.

[You don't know the half of it. Johnny absolutely loves being a spectacle.]

I can. It took a pretty drastic situation for me to learn how, though. And I have to have my powers fully on when I do.

Heheh... I imagine it must be surprising for others around you, though. I hope you don't play too many pranks on folks with it!

[ She's going to have to scold him if he does! ]

Oh... when you say have your powers on fully, what does that mean?

I have to be careful about it. Anything fire or heat related and they know its me.

[The best part of some pranks is getting away with it.]

I could tell you or I could show you. Which would you like?

Oh, so you're sneaky. Looks like I'll have to keep an eye out when I visit! And... I'm curious! Can you really show me?

[ She's just imagining him using his power like some of Captain's primal companions... ]

I can. [He takes his communication bracelet off and props it up. Taking a few steps and after a moment or two, his hand catches fire again. The first quickly spreads, running up along his arm and across his entire body until he's engulfed in flames.]

[ Her bright brown eyes widen in surprise at that! ]

That's...!! Ah! Are you really alright?!

[ Come on, flames all over HAS to hurt?! Oh she's regretting asking now! ]

[He can't help but laugh a little at her reaction.]

Yes, yes. I assure you, I'm completely fine. It really doesn't look like it, does it? [He probably have a similar reaction if he wasn't used to it and was seeing someone else do it.]

[ Oh, goodness. She looks mildly relieved even if she is kind of worried. ]

That's... definitely new. I'd probably cry if someone caught fire in front of me.

[ She laughs weakly. ]

Your clothes aren't going to get burned off from that, are they?

Well if it's me, you have nothing to worry about. [He steps closes to the device so only his upper body is visible and shuts down his powers. He's back to normal! Though his upper body is bare. That should pretty much answer her question for him.]

Yeah, but its fine. I'm used to it. I have my special suit that I can wear that doesn't actually burn.

[ Oh. Oh, they did. She feels a little bad for asking, to be honest. ]

I'm so sorry! I should have thought of that before I asked you...!

[ She pushes her hands to her cheeks. ]

Ah, I can make it up to you... buy you a new outfit?! I'm sorry that one burnt off! Maybe the prismals have something like your special suit, too..

[ Even if he doesn't look too upset about it. ]

[Johnny waves off the worry a bit.]

It's fine. When you are me, you're used to your clothes going up in smoke. [Like, literally.]

You don't have to buy me anything unless you know something you think might look good on me. [As long as he's not burning clothes every day, he should be fine.]

Though..I haven't considered having something like my special suit made..I wonder if they could do that.
