For those of you who are pet owners - particularly those of cats, what advice do you have for someone whose cat seems to have eschewed their bed in favour of sleeping on your chest and/or face?

Attachment: mute.png

The picture was taken by my best friend who was concerned that I did not immediately answer the door (I was trapped, I didn't want to disturb my cat he seemed so peaceful...)

I have no problems with him in my bed, but it is not a pleasant sensation to wake up not being able to breathe because there is a bundle of cat in the way.

I'm not saying that my cat is trying to kill me, but there have been a couple of close calls. Do I need to bribe him back to his bed? Or is his bed insufficient and he needs another one?

Might not have been the best choice for a first time pet, but he picked me and I'm not going to say no to a face as cute as his.

It really didn't take much at all.

Though I'll be completely honest, some of the toys I've bought were because I thought they were wonderfully amusing.
