I don't know if it's common, but humans need to sleep, even if they have trouble sleeping. The only ones who don't need sleep that I know of are spirits, demons, and gods, and you're kind of proving my point since you're admitting you're a god...

So you seriously just stay up to really avoid this problem, huh?

I don't stay awake to avoid it, I stay awake to do other things instead! Please don't word it like dreaming is my only concern!

Since you need to sleep, you must not fit into any of those categories yourself. Are you a mortal human?

Not more ridiculous than other problems they might have. At least this one doesn't end with anyone getting killed, cursed, or smited, you know? Besides, I've had my fair share of contact with non-humans. Stranger things than vivid night dreams are true.
