Alright, it's pretty clear that I've missed out on a lot of prime movies and music since it was 2012 for me back at home. So have at it, let me know your favourite stuff, let's talk about it and see if there's something similar here. And you don't have to limit it to like post-2012 either, we can go as far back as necessary if you're into something else before then too.

Like I know we don't have full access to everything here, but doesn't hurt to have a video list queued up to make requests right? Or finding the prismal equivalent--like I def found a copy of When Hairy Met Jelly while checking stuff out. I had a good laugh, but also... that's mildly terrifying. Romcoms are scary on their own, y'know?
So yeah, let's open some dialogue. Tell me all about your favourite movies, music or just like whatever the fuck you've found in this place.

Anyway, Miyazaki is pretty cool. I used to be super into Totoro as a kid, like how cool was he right?

It absolutely does suck, admittedly. And yeah, he is. Of course, there are other animated movies out there that are just as good, like Satoshi Kon, Mamoru Hosoda and even Makoto Shinkai. But Totoro is good, too.
Admittedly, my favorite Miyazaki film is Princess Mononoke, though.

But it's like whatever, y'know? You gotta keep doing you, and if someone tries to step up you don't back down because the moment you do they think they could walk all over you.
It sounds like you got a real passion there, I know a lot of those types of movies had been getting a lot more popular in the US around my time. Though I was always kind of exposed because of my family--I used to love the fuck out of some sentai series as a kid too. I thought I could take on the whole world.
Yo, Princess Mononoke was was intense though a good strong story about perseverance.
