video; We about to hit the lights and get bubblegum wasted

[ big three moon energy, here we have a certain gal that seems to be sporting some ocelot ears via video posting. there may also be a bucket of chicken somewhere in the view. but that's not the focus--don't focus on that. leave it alone. ]

Yo!

[ jolyne holds up her hand in greeting with a big ol' smile in place ]

Alright, it's pretty clear that I've missed out on a lot of prime movies and music since it was 2012 for me back at home. So have at it, let me know your favourite stuff, let's talk about it and see if there's something similar here. And you don't have to limit it to like post-2012 either, we can go as far back as necessary if you're into something else before then too.

[ there's that idle waving of the hand ]

Like I know we don't have full access to everything here, but doesn't hurt to have a video list queued up to make requests right? Or finding the prismal equivalent--like I def found a copy of When Hairy Met Jelly while checking stuff out. I had a good laugh, but also... that's mildly terrifying. Romcoms are scary on their own, y'know?

So yeah, let's open some dialogue. Tell me all about your favourite movies, music or just like whatever the fuck you've found in this place.

Maybe~ [It doesn't quite connect for Ren that she's making the remark because of his hair, but he could totally buy there being mermaids here, so he plays along with the question.]

Oh, that's good, then. I tend to like the stuff that's kind of dramatic and gruesome...there's one I think I saw recently about a research team out on one of the moons getting hunted down by a shapeshifter. The name was kind of on-the-nose, though, like "The Entity" or something...

[In other words, it was a blatant Prismal rip-off of The Thing, but at least Prismal versions of things tend to be even more ridiculous than the Earth versions.]
