[Video clicking on after a little fumbling as the user gets the right angle. Once he has it a fairly attractive young man is in view bright red eyes looking at the screen as he offers a lazy smile.]

Mm, there we go~!

[A happy hum as he settles in the spot he's relaxing in, in front of a piano keyboard.]

So today is my birthday. Which means it's normal to get spoiled and praised, right?

[Sitting up he runs his fingers over a couple of keys on the keyboard, it plays a small tune. Until he leans back in his chair.]

Does anyone know what kind of things are normal when celebrating a birthday here?

Or, even better, what did you do back home for your birthday? I'm curious what kind of things might be fun to do today.

[Spoil him a little by answering his questions.]

[A little lazy from the sunlight he takes the chance to lean against Gaku when he sits. Closing his eyes as he listens to him sing, his voice was really nice. He hadn't gotten to hear TRIGGER songs yet but wanted to hear them when they performed.

When he finishes he smiles and claps.]

Thank you, Gaakun.

[Gaku nudges him slightly and points to the cake.]

Blow out the candle, then you can open your gifts.

[Lazily he sits up, leaning forward and blowing out the candle. The cake looks really tasty.]

When did you do all this?

I got the cake today. It's still pretty fresh, I had it in the fridge, covered. I was going to text you after sunset.

[Looking a little embarrassed, Gaku nods to the presents.]

Those.... it took a few days. I honestly wasn't sure about any of them, so I thought I'd... get you a few.

Is it from the bakery we went to?

Mm, I was curious about other people and their homes?

[It was nice that Gaku was willing to wait until he was more awake...Gaku was too kind sometimes.]

You got a few? Heh, I'm not too hard to please, Gaakun.

[He smiles. Ritsu liked those cakes, so Gaku thought he'd get something new from there.]

It's not one of the ones we tried, though. [He nudges him toward the gifts.] Open the middle one first.

[The shop was really good, the sweets were just like how he liked them.]

We should try it soon then. [With the nudge be reaches for the one he was told. Unwrapping the present and opening the box.]

[Gaku steered him toward that one because he thought it would be the home run gift, or at least funny enough that Ritsu would forgive it being so silly. Inside the box is a sleep eye mask with a moon embroidered on the outside. The inside is soft and plush, and Gaku figures Ritsu can use it when he naps. Which is... frequently.]

[Ritsu starts to chuckle when he sees it. Pulling it out he presses his fingers over the embroidery then the soft fabric. Gaku knew his need for napping a little too well. Happy with it he sets it back in the box.]

Gaakun is encouraging me to sleep more, I see~

[A little friendly jab, there. But he's glad Ritsu seems to like it.]

Ooh does Gaku have a thing for sleeping people?

[Another little jab, but he does like it.

Reaching out he grabs the big box now. Once more opening the wrapper and then looking into the box. Gaku was too much.]

Sleeping... no? You just sleep a lot. I can't even wake you up when you fall asleep on the couch.

[In the larger box is a u-shaped neck pillow, perfect for carrying around anywhere for convenient naps. It has a moon motif as well.]

Cause sleeping is nice here.

[That was because it was comfy...and the scents were calming.

Ritsu grabs the pillow out squeezing it before putting it to his face. It was really nice and the moons were cute...he was really going to his namesake.]

Gaku really likes the moon theme for me huh?

[Gaku's cheeks go a little pink.]

It's just lucky that's how your name is written. Sleep... moons... it goes together, right?

[He's actually... reaching behind Ritsu to try to take and hide the smallest box. He's embarrassed about it now.]

[That was cute.]

Fufufu~ It is how it's written. I like the theme though.

[Watching him grabbing for the box he reaches out for Gaku's arm.]

Gaakun what are you doing now?

I'm... I don't know about this one.

[He sighs, but releases the box.]

Look. Honestly, I know we're not dating or anything, we're just neighbors or friends and we're hooking up, so maybe I went a little overboard. I don't want you to think I'm getting the wrong idea, here. I'm not trying to push anything on you.

[He literally bought shoes for Yamato once because the guy offhandedly said he liked Gaku's.]

Hm?

[Blinking he kneels on the couch...what did he even get him?]

Gaakun, I can't get the wrong idea if I don't even see what it is? Besides I don't think Gaakkun is being pushy.

[He looks away, then nudges the box at Ritsu with a faint furrowed brow. It's small, and when Ritsu unwraps it--Gaku wrapped all of these himself, too--there's a velvet box inside. It's wide, about the size of Ritsu's palm. When he opens it, he'll find a silver necklace chain holding a silver crescent moon shaped pendant dangling from beneath a diamond-cut garnet-like gem. Despite being delicate, it's still somehow distinctly masculine, too.]

[Pouting a little that Gaku won't look at him, he takes the box this time looking it over as he unwraps it. It wasn't big but the way the inner box looked makes him wonder for a moment until he opens it. That...was beautiful. Ritsu stares at it for a moment before he takes it out.]

It's...really pretty, Gaakun.

[He looks back in time to catch Ritsu's reaction, and somehow it makes him feel warmer than all the chroma in the world.]

I just thought it might suit you.

[It was a really nice present. The other gifts were nice too but he can tell Gaku tried his best with this all. Leaning over he presses a kiss to the older idol's cheek.]

Thank you. You did a lot for me today, Gaakun.

[He leans into the kiss a little, smiling to himself.]

You told me to spoil you, right?

[Gaku knocked this one out of the park. Putting the necklace on he toys with it a little.]

Hmmm, I did~

Is Gaakun going to spoil me more?

[His eyes scan down the necklace chain to where the gem and moon dangle. It's... nice. To be able to be open about caring about someone. Even if it's just his neighbor.

Three for three. Will he like the cake, too?]

That's what the cake is for.

[Gaku was rally pretty cute with everything. He feels a little bad he didn't do anything for Gaku's birthday now.]

Cake is good.

[He pauses.]

He should try to go out somewhere again too.
