(Snapping at others is easy for her and sometimes therapeutic. She has had at least one relationship that was at least partially built on pleasing arguments. There aren't many who see her softer side and after losing her life, she is even less inclined to reveal her weaknesses.)

My Dragon is little more than a hatchling in size. While he can breathe fire, it will be awhile before he is large enough to kill a man.

(While that would infuriate her and cause her to revert back to "BURN HIM", this is probably more fun. She smirks at his last message and sets out, Drogon clinging to her shoulder. She doesn't - can't - go anywhere without him, but he is too small to make much of a fuss. When she reaches his door, she pets over Drogon's head to soothe him before trying the knob.)

Mercury?

[As promised, the door is unlocked - he's not really worried about someone else coming in uninvited, because frankly they'd be putting themselves in more danger than anyone else. He'll be lounging on one end of the couch in the apartment's living area when he hears the unfamiliar voice call out and, like the good host he is, doesn't move an inch from his spot, instead calling out from where he sits.]

Door's open. Come in if you dare.

(She isn't surprised at his manners - or lack thereof. Letting herself into the apartment, she reveals herself in her full glory. However, while she is impressively arrayed, a Queen-Conqueror in truth, she is a small woman.)

Don't strain yourself.

(The door is closed behind her - she wasn't raised in a barn - and she approaches him, Drogon sniffing the air curiously.)

[He lifts his head a bit as the door opens, peering over as she steps into view for the first time. She definitely carries herself like someone important (or someone who thinks she's important, anyway), and that is certainly a tiny dragon on her shoulder. He wondered at one point if she might have been bluffing about having a dragon at all, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Noted.]

Figured I'd let you handle the door yourself, be all strong and independent. Seems your style.

[He lifts one hand to briefly gesture to the living area, as if saying to sit wherever. There are only two choices, really, seeing as how he hasn't had much time to furnish the place. There's a small wooden chair next to a table that he uses for eating, or there's the other end of the (admittedly small) couch he's already seated on.]

... that dragon's not going to relieve itself on my furniture, is it?

(She takes her time in answering, allowing Drogon to fly a short distance to perch on the back of the couch. The little Dragon seems to take offense to the question, bristling and biting the open air.)

He is house trained. (Daenerys doesn't move from where she stands, looking over Mercury intently.) There is something about you that reminds me of metal.

(And not just because he is hard-headed.)

I like seeing metal twist in heat.
