[A feminine, refined voice graces the ears of anyone who might happen to be listening. 'Grace' might not be the right word, however, as judging by what she's saying the woman clearly was trying to reach one particular person. Either she did not care if others heard, or she simply didn't know how to set her communications device to actually send a private message.]

Sakuya. I have changed my mind. A red wine would better suit tonight's meal. Also, bring me something sweet. I have not had anything sweet in days. Do not dally. I will be going out after dinner, so it cannot be delayed.

[Not exactly the most embarrassing mistake, but she sure sounds like a bossy little thing.]

(OOC: Technically open to anyone. If you wanna mock her mistake, just strike up a conversation, or if you dare to flirt with the Scarlet Devil, now is your chance.)

"Right! Of course!" Instantly happier with the clarification. "What sort of dish are you in the mood for? There are numerous kinds of fruit here. Both kinds I recognize and many I have not seen."

The petite vampire seems to take a few moments to think. "Hmmmm. Unfamiliar fruits, you say? Interesting, but I am not feeling daring enough to give them a chance to ruin my meal this evening. Please stick with something more traditional. If you wish to try them yourself, you may take your pick of what looks like something you would enjoy."

"Then I will do just that. I believe there is basic information on how to prepare all these foods. So I will start there before purchasing anything."

There was a long pause.

"I will not lie though. I have not seen so many cakes in one place before. I feel somewhat inspired by them. Though the sample I was given is average at best, the appearance of the cake is certainly excellent. I will have to emulate some of these decoration techniques."

"Well, than at least something good came from looking at otherwise mediocre sweets. I shall look forward to seeing how you adapt the idea of inferior confectioners to suit your own recipes. And to seeing some of these otherworldly fruits. Though knowing this world, I am wary they may have adverse effects on us. I still recall the drink which made my extra...well, let us just say friendly."

"I would have to taste some of the others to know the intent behind them as well as the type of cake and frosting but I would rather not strain the budget on mediocrity right now."

As for the drink...

"Ahaha... Yes. That was... Interesting. Let us hope that no one attempts to spike our drinks in the coming weeks. I am only grateful I was there to help secure your dignity, My Lady."

"Y...yes, it was a little bit awkward. I was more surprised that someone here managed to make something that could effect me. Anyway, I am still not used to having such a restrained budget. This world has proven difficult for me, I fear." There's a curt laugh. "Maybe if someone DID spike our drinks it would actually help generate chroma."

"I can work on the budget but there's only so much I can do alone." And without resorting to more lewd practices. Not that its ever really stopped her before.

"And... I suppose that is true. I will do my best to see such events as opportunity rather than any sort of malicious intent." Which was a good thing considering how protective Sakuya could be at times. It would be bad if someone got stabbed over a simple misunderstanding.

"Do you have any preference on the type of tea you want this evening? There are... Many kinds here. I could likely mix and match them to create a very unique blend."

"It is fine, Sakuya. That has never been your duty, and that has not changed in this world. I do not much care for the restraints I am currently being forced to deal with, however it is hardly the first time in my life I have had to do so. I am fortunate to have you and Patchouli here with me." Even she can show a little gratitude at times.

"If you can verify the leaves will not do anything...unusual, I should like to try something new. Price matters, of course. The more fancy products will have to wait until I have a more established presence here, I fear."
