No. Physical contact is important, but it doesn't have to be through sex. Sex just gives the highest amount of chroma.

Hugging gives more than hand holding, and kissing gives more than either. But you should stick to people you find tolerable, regardless.

I've also heard that fighting can generate chroma, but only if it's physical fighting and both people agree to it.

Which is really not that helpful if there is none nearby.

Perhaps you could carry some with you in a bottle? I don't know how much you need to fight effectively.

Any amount, really, so your suggestion could work.

It would be better than finding yourself defenseless. It's usually safe here, but once in a while, a threat comes up.

[Compared to Earth it's got enough differences, but Homeworld? Lapis would have to see more first before she could say one way or another.]

It does. A friend of mine said something similar about her world. My world has magic, but not technology.

... Not that I'm aware of.

That technology exists here, although it's not common.
