[Those who know Lunatia's local centaur lady will probably recognize Konoha's face as the video cuts in... way too close up at first. But thankfully she pulls it away from her, and, with a few taps on the lens with her finger, turns it to reveal... another centaur! A much bigger, buffer, and male centaur, but yeah, that sure is a sweaty fellow with a bunch of lumber?]

Gonta! Here you go, it's working now! All you have to do is talk to it as if you were talking to actual people.

[For a moment, Gonta squints at it with his one good eye. And all of Lunatia gets to enjoy an eyeful of nearly shirtless buff sweaty one-eyed horseman with a large plank of wood over one shoulder.]

Uh...

[He was about to talk, but it suddenly feels awkward. He isn't sure... is this people? This is so surreal... but his eye just goes for Konoha and he clears his throat, trying to compose himself.]

So... uh... the machine things. They stopped working well when those jellyfish came. I smashed some. And the Prismals took the rest away. Uh...

[By the great mountain, this is so awkward. He scratches the back of his hair. The video sways a little in Konoha's grasp, and a little "Mmm, that's good! Now you just have to ask!" can be heard before- oops, there's some fingers in the shot, don't mind that.]

Alright, alright...

[Gonta composes himself, straightening his back, looking every bit a majestic, strong jinba with a long piece of hard wood.]

Without the machine things around, we need help to complete our new home and farmstead! I'm hoping to get this all done before the month ends. I'll be hoping for your assistance.

[And he bows respectfully towards the camera. The camera bows too???? Until Konoha remembers she's holding it and so her bowing too probably isn't a good idea, straightening back up and turning it around way too close to her face again.]

We'll pay you some, of course! And I'll make meals so you don't have to worry about that, either!

[One more bow and the feed cuts out halfway through Konoha's "Good job, Go-"]

[ It takes a while for Gonta to answer, with Konoha teaching him about the text to voice function. But once he's figured it out, he'll answer back with his own voice. ]

Oh? You've got the Sanguis moon, too? Could be good to have more super-strong help while the moon is in the sky.

[Majima doesn't really have the same antsiness over not hearing word back immediately as somebody who grew up with text messaging, at least.]

Bingo, long as it doesn't require havin' legs or fittin' into real small spaces. I can get around just fine... Just, y'know, I'm dealing with a lot of tail here.

[ That definitely piques Gonta's curiosity. ]

[He only got in the habit of describing it that way because some people around here don't even know what snakes are. These two are from centaur-Japan, though.]

Think big snake. I still got arms, just so we're clear.

Well, whatever you are, it’ll be good to have help anyway. If you like fighting, we could do that too. Not a lot of people can match up to a Jinba’s strength.

[ And Gonta by far was one of the strongest. ]

[Oh, you can take a swing at him any day and he'd be just peachy, slugger. No sarcasm.]

I mean... That'd kinda distract from your tight schedule, but— [Should he REALLY punch Konoha's husband? Even if it'd be a blast for two amped up Sanguis?] I'm guessin' you got that urge, huh? It'd be interesting workin' out how to fight somethin' like you, at the very least.

[As in a quadruped, a jinba. He's already gone up against a few bipedal bulldozers in his time.]

If you like fighting, I'm all for it! Especially if you don't get scared easy!

There's a bit of an excited horse-y huff at that. Someone's been itching to get physical in a different way.

Building stuff is great and all but... I fought off bears and wolves back in the mountains regularly! Hate to say it, but I miss the rush!

Don't worry, I know exactly where you're comin' from... [Maybe not in the context of jonesing to wrestle a bear specifically though, jeez... ] I'm not like either of those things, so it's soundin' like it'll be a new experience for us both.

[Here, Majima pauses to respond to a text message from Konoha. He's been multi-tasking. i REFEREE. gets an audible chuckle.]

So, plan is... I'm gonna be swingin' by early tomorrow morning. We could go for a round then, get it out of our systems first thing, up to you. It gonna be okay to use your field for this?

Sounds like a plan. We've got lots of ground to use for fighting anyway!

[ Also doubles as space for him to enjoy Konoha intimately in the open but Majima doesn't need to know any of that~ ]

[Maybe friend ain't the right word.]

I know Konoha, since I kinda keep runnin' into her. First time was at Obon, the makeshift one somebody threw down on Level 3, anyway. I'm from Japan, too.

[ Gonta gives a little snort that sounds like a shrug at that. He isn't surprised by people who come up saying that they're friends of Konoha's anymore. Someone could tell him that Konoha is friend to everyone on Lunatia and Gonta would believe it. ]

Huh. I see. Well, good to know. I'm looking forward to meeting you then, Majima.
