every1's super active on this thing but i got a question that's been buggin me 4 awhile now

i wasnt at the nothing adventure thing, but i was around 4 the casino shindig and all that jazz

they have customs 4 chroma like a good luck hug or kiss before going off 2 fight or w/e rite? but like

i thought they couldnt make chroma? thats y we're "blessed" and stuff, rite? so how do they have customs 4 somethin like that if they cant do the thing that we can do?

they never had it in the 1st place, rite? it's weird.

if some1 already asked then can u just direct me 2 that post, pls? thx!

[this is also happening at like, the middle of the night because someone's sick and can't sleep.]

theories r that maybe they could get chroma b4 this calamity and now they cant.

but no docs on wat was goin in b4, not even any word of mouth stories.

I haven't seen anything in the libraries that mentions anything about the Prismals being able to use chroma or heard anything like that around town. It's all "Moonblessed this" and "Moonblessed that," like we're some hot new 'zine.

ugh, makin me get outta bed, geez. hold on.

[ It was rude, Setsura, gosh. Yeah, being out at the crack of dawn yesterday hadn't been a good idea even with the chicken soup provided by Lie Ren. His body ached and his fever was still present. So, when he answered the door, he appeared flushed and he had to cleared his throat a little.]

Wouldn't have been a problem if you'd told me in the first place, you know.

[ If she didn't care enough to walk from her perch on the roof to check on him in the first place, but that doesn't bother her so much. In some ways, it's like she's operating a mission far from her general locality. Just passing through is her mindset, but that doesn't mean she can't or won't make some kind of connection with the people around her. She has with Yosuke, that's for sure.

Setsura doesn't waste a second in looking him over with a quietly critical eye. She's silent in those seconds. Flushed, clearing his throat like that -- she steps forward to put the back of her hand to his forehead gently, but firmly. ]

No. You've got a fever.

[ he didn't bother answering the last text. as far as he was concerned, he had been telling the truth. telling people he was sick was just not something he wanted to bother with. ]

I'm aware. [ it came out more tired than sarcastic. he pulled back from her wrist to have her come inside. ] C'mon, I wanna sit back down.

[ It isn't like Setsura can blame him. She couldn't have blamed him had he gotten snappish with her with the way she's pressing; though, she notices and appreciates that he isn't. She's witnessed illness enough in her life to know it doesn't tend to do much of anything positive for one's mood. She's not going to apologize, though. She'd been -- well, she is a little worried even if it isn't written all over her face in glaring red ink.

She steps inside, content to follow his lead, already wondering what sort of soup she should make. Something from home definitely. ]

Do you like miso?

Yeah, sure. If there isn't any tofu in it.

[ He sat down at the couch, curling up against the arm and pulling a blanket over his lap. He scooted down just enough to lay his head on the arm as well, sighing tiredly. The trek to the door from his room took a lot more out of him that he realized and he pulled the blanket up to his face to cough.]

I have some left over chicken soup in the fridge though, Lie Ren made me some. I'll have some later.

[chichichi]

[ No tofu. Got it. ]

I won't keep you too long. You sound tired and I should have a look at what I've got available. A little variety might do you some good.

[ Although it's good he has a friend so considerate as to make something for him when he's sick. Lie Ren, huh? She'll have to remember that name. ]

That's because I am tired.

[ It was more a mumble now, staring blearily at the blank television set across the room. It was well past midnight so the anxiety of it turning on wasn't there, but he still felt like he was just going to see flicker any second now for some reason. He sighed, eyes moving to a well made fox plushie sitting next to it that Kanji had made and given to him for free. He had an urge to hold it but he didn't want to get up again and that was just stupid anyway.

He closed his eyes and turned his face further into the couch arm. ]

Honestly, I don't think I have stuff for miso, haven't had a chance to go to the store.

[ He also didn't know how to make miso soup so he wouldn't even know what to buy. ]

[chichichi]

Leave it to me.

[ It's four simple words, but no sooner than they're out of Setsura's mouth does she pause, having realized them, the magnitude of her having uttered them in the first place. It feels right, though. Natural, she thinks, that she'd say that particular phrase to Yosuke. Her eyes slide across the room to that fox plushie, having followed his gaze a moment earlier, then back to him again. ]

Why don't you try to get some sleep, hmm?

Mm... I hadn't really been able to sleep this whole time.

[ he closed his eyes nonetheless, drawing up the blanket a little closer to his face. he coughed into it and then settled once more. his throat didn't burn at least, he got past that phase a bit quicker than he thought he would but he wasn't going to look at a gift horse in the mouth. ]

Y'don't have to stick around.

[chichichi]

I'll see myself out.

[ And she intends to, but first, she turns her gaze on that fox plushie. Hmmm... ]

[ he kind of didnt want her to leave but there just didn't seem to be a point in having her stay just to watch him lay around. he hummed an affirmative instead, letting the tiredness finally pull him under into a somewhat fitful slumber. his cough wasn't so bad that he'd wake himself up and his couch was comfortable enough for now. ]
