I will not hide my identity nor pretend these words are not attached to me. There were men who thought I committed many wrongs before I came here. One man held me accountable and spared me nothing besides a lingering death, which leads me to my question: in your estimation, are there any crimes that are unforgivable?

What a common man or woman cannot - should not - do, a king or a queen can do for the good of their people, correct? Great sacrifices are expected in battle - in war - however do you think that a ruler's life should be forfeit for them? What good can they do if they are slain prematurely?

I can admit when I am wrong, but on this...

I don't understand.

Really. So he should be blamed for his people betraying him? He should be blamed for their ambition? Their greed?

Yes. Get rid of dissenters and it won't be a problem. Nobody should dare to go against their beloved ruler, to do so means he is showing weakness.

Most of them killed each other before I arrived. I saw to the last of them.

A power struggle, then? All that means is that the smartest one waits for everyone to finish themselves off. You wouldn't even have to get your hands dirty. I'm still not seeing the problem.

Do you consider that a failure, or a necessary sacrifice for your goals?

So you saw it as necessary. Are you only going to change your mind because others are telling you that you should? Surely you had your reasons, and being so easily swayed by those beneath you isn't a sign of a strength. You should stick to your conviction!

Of course it is. Unless he's here to answer for himself, you're just going to make up complicated scenarios in which that is not the case. He had his own reasons, and he followed through with them, so yes. It really is that simple. Don't you think he would have kept you alive if it weren't?

He has strong morals. The more I think about it, the more it seems like he killed me because I opposed them too many times.

Looking for stability isn't asking for a solution. I'm not alone; I know that. This place is probably filled with those who have done foul deeds.
