I will not hide my identity nor pretend these words are not attached to me. There were men who thought I committed many wrongs before I came here. One man held me accountable and spared me nothing besides a lingering death, which leads me to my question: in your estimation, are there any crimes that are unforgivable?
What a common man or woman cannot - should not - do, a king or a queen can do for the good of their people, correct? Great sacrifices are expected in battle - in war - however do you think that a ruler's life should be forfeit for them? What good can they do if they are slain prematurely?
I can admit when I am wrong, but on this...
I don't understand.

[ At least it seems like her heart's in the right place. ]
You're not the first person I've met who died and still wound up here
Kind of makes this place feel like a second chance, doesn't it?

(Death by dragon-fire if they were lucky.)
It does. I've been thinking about what I want to do with it. Instead of pursuing the Iron Throne and the Seven Kingdoms, maybe I can be...myself...again.

That actually sounds like a pretty great way to start.
The being yourself part
Not the harsh punishment thing, i mean
[ Awkward. ]

Uniting seven kingdoms isn't easy. My ancestor did so with his sister-queens and their dragons.

I bet.
I wasn't looking forward to trying to unite four nations, never mind seven.
Probably the only thing harder than bringing everyone together is keeping a peace you won by force like that

Force would only be necessary in the beginning. Once everyone found their place, the peace would be appreciated and upheld by every noble and peasant.

[ Obviously they lost the throne somehow, and what she's saying sure sounds like idealism more than reality. But if they had peace for thousands of years first or whatever, maybe she's right. Maybe her star works differently from Eos. And Lunatia. Would be nice. ]

(She had come so far and she is shocked that it ended with abrupt violence. How does she pick up the pieces? She has no idea.)
