I will not hide my identity nor pretend these words are not attached to me. There were men who thought I committed many wrongs before I came here. One man held me accountable and spared me nothing besides a lingering death, which leads me to my question: in your estimation, are there any crimes that are unforgivable?

What a common man or woman cannot - should not - do, a king or a queen can do for the good of their people, correct? Great sacrifices are expected in battle - in war - however do you think that a ruler's life should be forfeit for them? What good can they do if they are slain prematurely?

I can admit when I am wrong, but on this...

I don’t think I could judge or condemn you for things you did on your world, since I never lived under the circumstances that you had to.

That said, if you don’t want to tell me, I wouldn’t be upset. You just have to promise to tell me at some point.

I don't think you are a bad person, at least from my experience with you. Knowing that you died in your world honestly makes me want to you find you and hug you.

Why?

My enemy...the wife of the man who saw to the deaths of my father and brother...barred the gates. She used the city folk as a shield, placing them between herself and my forces.

If given a chance, she would have killed more of those I held dear.

I can't say that I would have done the same thing in your situation, but like I said before, I can't condemn you when I never lived in your situation.

But I've known a man in on my world..he would find other worlds so that an entity could feed on the whole planet. All to save his own. What he did was horrible, but he also did it to protect those that he loved. In the end, he died to protect my planet.

I guess what I'm saying is I know good people can do awful things to protect those that they care for.

That is why he killed me.

He couldn't accept how far I was willing to go.

But he can't know how it felt to watch my sons die...horribly. Then my friends following them.

I stopped eating, sleeping... What the usurper did was the final straw. I'm not proud of what I did, but it secured the city, the throne and the Seven Kingdoms. All of it was mine.

I am a conqueror at heart.

I can't say I fully understand how it felt either, since no one has been taken from me in such a way. And while this will make me view you in a different light, I don't think awful of you. And I definitely wish that you weren't killed.

I have no power here and no reason to harm anyone. I need to make a new life for myself and I will.

It is entirely selfish of me, but I like being around you.

I believe you'll be successful in doing that. I don't think any of us have a choice but to make whatever kind of life we can here.

I like being around you too. So you don't have to worry, I'm not going to stop doing that.

What sort of life do you want?

Can I help you achieve it? Your kindness and understanding has inspired me.

I don't know. I've never really thought about it. I guess just a life where I can be happy and live without worrying about too much. A life where I can have fun and spend time with friends and the important people in my life.

That sounds nice. Maybe I should have sought a simpler life too.

I thought I was made for castles, but in truth, I always dreamed of a much smaller house. As a commoner, I could have been safe.

Do you worry about your safety?

I don't see what you can't have a simpler life here. There is still so much for you to see and try too.

I worry about the safety of others. Always have. Not that I don't care what happens to me, but the people that I care about are always more important than my well being.

I hope you find everything you're searching for and more. I'm not sure what awaits me or what I deserve, but I'm alive and that matters to me.

You deserve a fresh start. And I think that is exactly what you are getting here. And whatever else awaits you here, you won't face it alone. I know I'll still be by your side. I don't abandon friends.

I think that you are, even if you don't believe it yourself. Hopefully n time, you will start to believe it yourself.

For the time being, I want to be a good friend; I want to help people. How I feel about myself is secondary.

Well, does my good friend still want to go with me to the Great Moon Grove sometime?
