[ Weiss is looking into the camera with a large glowing suit of armour behind her. She was wondering if she should perform summoning the Arma Gigas for everyone to see, but she figured that it could be a waste of time. As flashy as she can be most of the time, she decides not to be for this. ]

Since there are a lot of people here from all kinds of places, I'm sure there are some of you who are capable of summoning allies to fight by your side or fight for you. I'd like to know more about the process of summoning in other worlds. Maybe it could help me improve my summoning, too. We can meet in person if that's more convenient.

[ There are a lot of things she wants to improve on when it comes to summoning, one particular thing would be her casting time. That's not something she'll say out loud for everyone to hear, though. With her summoning request having been asked though, she dismisses the Arma Gigas and it very slowly evaporates into the air until it's completely gone. ]

I'm not sure how many Moonblessed there are here, too, but there are several people from Remnant here. We have what we call an Aura - the manifestation of one's soul. It protects us, and from experience, it looks like anyone with a soul can have their Aura unlocked, even if they aren't from Remnant. It proves to be helpful, of course, but having your Aura unlocked also drains you of all your Chroma. You could end up crystallising if you don't moonlace right away. [ She's only saying this now so awful people like Raven don't unlock Auras again and leave the person Chromaless????? PLEASE. ] Basically? Don't be an idiot, and if you want your Aura unlocked, make sure it's with somebody you trust.

[That...is a large suit of armor. Even though he is well aware that entire Heroic Spirits could be summoned, sometimes by the same one person, that armor was nevertheless an impressive feat.

He's also piqued by her mentioning Remnant and Aura, considering that he had heard of these things from Ruby. Wait, then summoning must be her Semblance?]

In my world, Heroic Spirits are summoned by persons [He would say magi, but he isn't sure if that concept is familiar to the young woman.] called Masters to fight for them. Normally this is in the context of a war for the Holy Grail, but I and many others were summoned instead to save humanity. We're called Servants.

Surely you've met some people calling themselves either a Master or a Servant? [There were a good number of them. Weiss must have met at least one person like that by now.]

When witches and familiars create contracts, the witch is able to summon them if that is something they agree upon. The contracts can vary a lot--it's something each individual pairing decides upon together.

Your Aura sounds a lot like our Ka. Ka were also a manifestation of your soul, and could be summoned using your life force, or ba. However, each summon cost you ba, and if you ran out of ba, you died.

Unfortunately, the magic required by ka and ba was locked away thousands of years ago because they became too dangerous. There is magic that can imitate them, but it's much less flexible and much less personal.

Depends on your definition of summoning. I have my own, and I can already tell it won't quite match yours, but I'm willing to offer my experience all the same.

For starters, yours looks like it's separate from your body. Mine envelops me. That alone might render any advice I offer moot.

Sounds a little like what we got back home, babe. Although in our case not everyone can use Personas - only those with a strong will are able to.

Does that summoned armor have a name?

This isn't an ability that everyone is capable of doing.

[ The Glyphs are limited to Schnees, and even then, the summoning aspect is even more limited because it requires extra study and control. ]

It's called an Arma Gigas - it's what it was named by the scientists who made it.

[ She believes those to be very different levels of chroma. She's surprised Weiss hasn't started already looking like an ice queen with crystals coming out of her, though, so maybe the little snowflake's melted a little since they last spoke. ]
