It feels nice and okay to not just use text; like he'a ready to embrace the people here. For once, he doesn't have his glasses - they wouldn't work around the rabbit ears.

Yes, rabbit ears. They rest down the sides of his head - a lop rabbit - in the same brown as his hair, with little flecks of grey around the very bottom edges. Occasionally, as he talks, they shift slightly forward and back, as they emote with his face and his voice. Nothing as dramatic as rabbits with ears that stand up, of course. ]
