They do. Some places even make the crust into little cheesy bites for an extra charge. You should try it sometime.

It's become really popular to flavor the crust, too. Garlic herb, butter, butter cheese, and ranch are a few options for that kind of thing off the top of my head.

I make my home in Tokyo these days, so I know a thing or two about that. A lot of the replies about toppings here look pretty tame to me.

The shop I frequent is pretty eclectic for the area. I think it's intentional, though. Might as well capitalize on the local tastes and appeal to the tourists.

I'm unfamiliar. I suppose that's a portion of the price for not traveling as often as I used to.

Not bad. I'm fond of pepperoni, pineapple, and seafood on pizza myself. Sakura ebi, especially. Shirako has no business on top of pizza in my opinion.

It's an acquired taste even back home. People will eat the most unusual things. Charge a pretty price for them, too, in some cases.
