TEXT - 19TH OCTOBER

I would like to wish my latest model, Yukari Takeba, a very happy birthday.

In honour of her beauty on this important day, I've attached a few sketches from our modelling sessions. Not only is she kind and generous in character, but her form is exquisite. I hope you will join me in showing your appreciation for her.

[He's attached some rough sketches of Yukari in various poses. In some she's clothed, but for the rest she's tastefully (?) naked. YUKARI YELLED AT HIM VIA TEXT the images are gone now]

Not really, no.

People seeing sketches of someone nude posted online without anything denoting it as innocent figure drawing are more likely to think of it as fuel for sexual fantasies than tasteful nudity.

That's why the context is important. The painting you did of me was clearly not sexual because of the way I was presented in it and the fact that it was formally displayed, but a realistic nude image with no context is going to have people imagining their own context. And most of the time, the first context someone will think of for a nude image is sexual.

[...Just a moment, while he fights down being horribly embarrassed at the reminder.]

That was the intent at the time, yes. But even without the suggestive angle, an image that showed that much would have been taken as showing off sex appeal.

Wishing someone a happy birthday, combined with references to nudity, can be taken as suggestive in its own right. It's not unheard of for people to give their lovers sexual favors as birthday presents.

That's between the two of you, just as long as you understand now why this might cause Takeba-san to be viewed in ways she's not comfortable with.
