[ The video comes on and it appears to be neatly propped up on a desk. He's spinning a pen between his fingers. It's clear he's sitting at a desk, given by how much you can see of him. He's never posted to the network before. ]

A couple of you may know this, but I am a manga-ka at home, and obtained a physical copy my series about a month ago. Not long ago, I did get a publisher and I'm able to get additional prints of it so that I do not have to lend out my only copy.

[ But that is only partially the point of this post. ]

I'm in the process of developing a new series. There's only so much to work with within my own experiences. I've drawn many pieces of scenery here, filled up sketchbooks with pictures of Prismals and Moonblessed alike.

[ He sets his pen down on his desk, and stops playing with it. ]

So that's where I come to you. I'd like to hear stories about your life prior to here. Whether that is an interesting story or fact about you or the world you come from.

[ Oh, yeah. ]

And, one more thing. I guess, since I'm feeling generous. If anyone would like to see if I drew them - just let me know. I'd recommend posting a video. I draw what I like so there's no guarantees, but it's possible.


[ ooc; i'm happy to have had him draw p. much anyone who would be spending regular time at the park, especially if they sit still for a few minutes when there since that's where he draws most his inspiration from! ;) ]

[ She's settling into one of her usual perches amidst the trees in the park if the shifting background is any indication. Tugging the single ear bud from her favored side, she inclines her head. ]

I believe we've established that I'm curious, so I'd like to purchase a copy of your manga.

[ In addition to seeing a drawing he might have done of her. Were he an average artist, she might have wondered when he found the time, but as talented, as quick as he is, she doesn't doubt it's well within his capabilities as often as they come together to observe. Birds of a feather or something like that, and where she might have thought to charge for a story, she pauses. ]

A story for a drawing. That sounds fair, doesn't it?

[ He notices the usual place behind her. He's not surprised. ]

Alright. Well, if you prefer to simply borrow it, that's fine. [ Since he seems to like her or something and trusts her to return it. ]

That sounds more than fair. [ As if he hadn't drawn her before anyway. He's seen her face enough times to draw it from memory. ]

[chichichi]

[ Borrow, hm? That's a magical, telling word, and not one she's terribly adverse to like a certain "g" word with "ift" attached to it. ]

If it wouldn't be any trouble. I will want a copy of my own, though, I'm sure.

[ For all that he's said his art is to him. ]

Are you in the mood for anything particular or is it dealer's choice?

[ She does have something in mind given her realization of exactly what time of year it is... ]

Of course not.

[ And, if she decides she wants a copy, well - they can sort that out then. Benefit of being friends with him, or something like that. ]

Dealers choice. I know you probably have something interesting up your sleeve.
