[ The video comes on and it appears to be neatly propped up on a desk. He's spinning a pen between his fingers. It's clear he's sitting at a desk, given by how much you can see of him. He's never posted to the network before. ]

A couple of you may know this, but I am a manga-ka at home, and obtained a physical copy my series about a month ago. Not long ago, I did get a publisher and I'm able to get additional prints of it so that I do not have to lend out my only copy.

[ But that is only partially the point of this post. ]

I'm in the process of developing a new series. There's only so much to work with within my own experiences. I've drawn many pieces of scenery here, filled up sketchbooks with pictures of Prismals and Moonblessed alike.

[ He sets his pen down on his desk, and stops playing with it. ]

So that's where I come to you. I'd like to hear stories about your life prior to here. Whether that is an interesting story or fact about you or the world you come from.

[ Oh, yeah. ]

And, one more thing. I guess, since I'm feeling generous. If anyone would like to see if I drew them - just let me know. I'd recommend posting a video. I draw what I like so there's no guarantees, but it's possible.

[ ooc; i'm happy to have had him draw p. much anyone who would be spending regular time at the park, especially if they sit still for a few minutes when there since that's where he draws most his inspiration from! ;) ]

What sort of story would you prefer? Tragic ones, ones with happy endings? So many stories are in my collection that I find it difficult to know where to begin.

[ He did debate over responding to Rohan at first, but his extrovert brain tells him to just do it. He's bored enough! If the conversation goes south he can always end it, anyway. ]

So. I gotta know ... Have I ever been in that sketchbook of yours?

Oh, I can tell you a bunch of stories about what my life was like before I came here. They're pretty normal and boring, though, so I guess they'd be the kind of thing that would fit best with some kind of supporting character?

[She's trying not to grin, already amused at the prospect. Obviously she'll edit out any overt references to him specifically, or anything that might visibly connect the two of them together, but — well, she'll know, and Rohan will know. That's what matters.]

I dunno, are there any cute girl roles in your new series?

Are you really expecting people to just spill information about themselves to you?

[She's just being contrary to be contrary.]

[ hello rohan, too bad this isn't a normal time for the bubbly nation. instead now he seems to be donning a pair of ram horns and his hair a little more curly and ruffled than usual. but still, that distinctive curl is persistent ]

A fellow artist, how exciting! I don't do manga work myself though--I really appreciate the art form and the storytelling involved, what kind of series were you releasing in your home?

[ there was some waving of his hands, as if realizing something all of a sudden ]

A-ah! I got very distracted, I'm sorry...! I wanted to say, if you needed any help with more references of people and the scenery here, I've been sketching and painting a lot since I've arrived. Perhaps you could get a better view of the Spring season from those.

How about a story of found family?

You have a volume of your manga from home?! I'd be interested in a copy, if it's not too much trouble to reproduce! And if you make a volume of your new work, I'll line up to buy a copy of that too. ...It's not much in the way of repayment, of course, but I can happily swap a story or two if you're after them. Goodness knows that I've certainly seen enough to manage at least one half-decent story.

Shall I tell you the story of the gambler I met in my travels, and his enchanted chips? Or, perhaps the seemingly sentient ghost ship? I'll let you choose!

[...Sanguis has been Hard, Okay, because the horns and vertical pupils are kind of weird to have when he's mostly human and he feels very Short, but this definitely perks Seteth up a bit. Like... of course he can't just press-gang everyone into being an illustrator but maybe he can just get leads?]

Ah, so you are an illustrator of sorts? I will admit, I have not encountered the term "manga-ka" before, though perhaps it is simply something more prevalent outside Fodlan. Regardless, I do write as a hobby, though it's mostly aimed at children, so I'm uncertain if fables are the sorts of things you're looking for.

[What is Manga??? Context clues hits to Joseph that it must be some kind of comic book, so his dumb face is going to appear on screen like a giddy boy who just found out how to Facetime Santa Claus himself.]

Wait a minute - you draw comics?

[ She's settling into one of her usual perches amidst the trees in the park if the shifting background is any indication. Tugging the single ear bud from her favored side, she inclines her head. ]

I believe we've established that I'm curious, so I'd like to purchase a copy of your manga.

[ In addition to seeing a drawing he might have done of her. Were he an average artist, she might have wondered when he found the time, but as talented, as quick as he is, she doesn't doubt it's well within his capabilities as often as they come together to observe. Birds of a feather or something like that, and where she might have thought to charge for a story, she pauses. ]

A story for a drawing. That sounds fair, doesn't it?

Congrats, it's always nice to have something from home like that.

Not sure I'm necessarily comfortable shouting off my personal history, but I don't mind talking a little about work. If you need to know anything about guns I can show you mine and take them apart and the like. Always happy to talk about weapons. :)

Baiting people into showing themselves, though, huh. Sneaky.

Back in my hometown, everyone who didn't come in from a different place has a Third Eye. It's a symbol of Wisdom, and getting a Third Eye is like a rite of passage for young Daisanians like myself.

...I dunno if that's really interesting though?
